Tobias' POV

"Tobias time for school!" My dad tells from downstairs. Why do I even call him dad? I should call him Marcus. He doesn't deserve to be called my dad.

I lazily get out of bed and strip of my sleeping clothes and into my regular, old, gray Abnegation clothes. I kinda do love this faction, but trust me, I can't wait to get out though.

The only thing I look forward to today, well everyday, is seeing my girlfriend Anna. Anna has ginger-colored hair with the prettiest light blue eyes I've ever seen. She stands at 5'6" and always looks up at me. I think it's perfect.

Anyway, next week is my birthday, which is right before the simulation tests, which is the day before the Choosing Ceremony. Confusing, I know, but it's how it is.

I walk downstairs and we don't talk as we eat breakfast. Well, I don't talk anyway. After I'm done eating, I get up and start walking to school.

I sigh once I reach the building, and then I meet up with Anna inside. I smile when I see her, but she isn't smiling back. I get confused and hug her.

"Something wrong?" I ask her and kiss her cheek.

"Uh well-" she gets cut off from the bell ringing, "I'll tell you after school."

I sigh and jog to my first class.

*few hours later last bell just rang*

I walk over to Anna's last class and wait for her. She comes out, wearing a smile. But it's clearly a fake smile.

"What did you want to tell me?" I ask her as we walk to the back of the school. I lean against the wall and she stands in front of me.

"Oh yeah, uh about that. I kinda might've cheated on you." She quietly says.

My heart stops. My throat is dry. My breathing starts to heavy.

"W-what did you say?" My words barely coming out.

"I said I cheated on you." She says again.

I can't believe I dated this girl for almost two years. I can't believe I loved this girl for almost two years.

"Tobias don't. Don't. I only kissed some guy. And maybe a little more, but Tobias!" She rambled on but I could hardly hear.

But screw this. She cheated on me and I would never cheat on her.

"I have no other choice." I sternly said, "I'm breaking up with you."

Anna just ran away and I stayed where I was. I slouched down against the wall and sat down on the ground. I buried my face in my hands and rubbed my eyes.

I sighed and walked back home.

I went into my room without even acknowledging my parents that I was home. Even though I wasn't supposed to do it, I climbed out of my window in my room and onto the roof.

I just sit there for a few hours. Empty-minded and broken-hearted. I sigh again for the hundredth time and look into the distance. All I see are gray houses and grass.

Wait.

I also see a girl standing outside. I've seen her before at school. I think her name is Beatrice Prior. She's short and kinda pretty. Her light brown hair and stormy blue eyes. I've heard she's weak but I'm not even sure. I've never really seen her do anything.

An ideas clicks in my head. I'm not sure if it's the greatest idea, but I'm broken.

Beatrice Prior is my next priority.
