Beatrice POV

After Tobias left again, I sat on the couch and cried. Yes, I'm pretty pathetic but it all just got to me. I wonder if Tobias told Caleb what happened or lied about it. I just don't want anyone to worry.

After endless minutes of tears, I hear a key unlocking the door and quickly wipe my tears away.

Tobias walks in and sits next to me.

"Hi." He says.

"Hi." I quietly reply, not looking at him.

"Beatrice, don't be upset please. Hate me if you want. But don't cry." He sighs, "Punch me. Hit me. I don't care. Whatever you want.." He stands up and frowns.

And that's just what I did.

I tackled Tobias to the ground and punched him in the face;multiple times in the face. And then guilt hit me and I stopped.

I started crying again. This time for Tobias. And then I ran downstairs and grabbed the medical stuff. I came back upstairs and cleaned Tobias' face, while he was still unconscious.

My tears were dripping onto Tobias' damaged face as I was cleaning it. After I was done, I left him there and I just sat on the couch with my head in my knees. I can't stop being emotional now.

Hours went by;quiet hours. Hours alone.

I got up to finally eat something, when I heard a groan come from Tobias.

I went over and kneeled next to him.

"I'm sorry. Had to take my anger out someway." I slightly chuckled.

Tobias' eyes open and there's a twinkle in the dark blue pools. Wait. What? Why is he looking at me like that?

"Thank you." His voice rumbles out

"Why would you thank me?" I question.

"I needed that. I deserved that." He whispers and smiles.

"What?" I slightly smile back.

"You're a strong puncher. Practice paid off." He chuckles.

"Thanks. But I think you need to get up. Sorry again." I stand up and hold out my hand for him.

"Don't worry about it. Like I said before, I deserve it." He takes my hand and I pull him up, along with his help of course.

He stumbles a little before balancing back out.

"I think you need to sit down. I might've gave you a concision or something." I told him.

"Yeah. I'm a little dizzy." He frowns.

I lead him over to the couch and he sits down, leaning back and closing his eyes. He sighs.

"Want anything to eat?" I ask.

"Water. Nothing to eat right now." He tells me.

"Okay." I walk into the kitchen and grab a granola bar for myself and fill a glass of water for Tobias.

I walk back over to the couch and sit next to him. He opens his eyes and smiles when he grabs the glass of water.

"Thanks." He drinks the water.

"No problem." I reply.

"Hey, Beatrice?"

"Hm?"

"Do you have a twin? Because if you do, she's sitting next to you."

"Yeah, I definitely got you in the head." I chuckle, "You should sleep."

"Okay."

I get off of the couch and Tobias lays down across it, his feet dangling off the edge.

"Goodnight Tobias." I say while going up the stairs and looking back at him.

"Night." He mumbles.

I smile and go upstairs to Tobias' room. I should've let him sleep in his bed.

I sigh and slip under the gray covers. I can't seem to find sleep, so I stare up at the ceiling until my eyes seem to close on me.
