Chapter twenty one

MALLIKA'S POV

I was with the boys in their dorms. We were all worried about them. Well not me. I know Meera is good at these situations. That's because she is able to apply all her knowledge of movies in real life. She's cool when it comes to these things. She can protect herself.

"Where are they?" Doyoung was pacing back and forth. Repeating the same question again and again. "They'll be fine. If not Taeyong then trust Meera." I reassured them. Again.

"How can you be so calm when your best friend is in a foreign land probably separated from Taeyong or getting beaten up by those fangirls? Just how?" Jaehyun sat beside me.

"Well that's because her mood swings come in handy." They were listening to me carefully so I continued.

"You won't believe, one day we were coming back from college and she was in a bad mood because we waited in college for three hours for a class and it got cancelled at the last moment. She was really pissed off but managed to calm herself down."

"So we were near my place when two guys approached us, probably a bit drunk. It wasn't dark at that time and it wasn't crowded. I took her hand." I paused for a moment.

"Then?" Ten asked curiously.

"She got mad and picked up am empty beer bottle. Then she was like 'I need to vent out my anger' and went towards them." I was being dramatic and giving them sound effects and actions which heightened the feel. They looked like five year olds, listening to their grandmother who is reciting a bedtime story.

"Then?" He asked again.

"Then she smashed the bottle against a pole so that it would have break from between and have those sharp edges." I can seriously hear them gulp.

"She walked towards them and said 'Get ready to enjoy your last breath'." I don't want to ruin her image but they must know all the essentials about her that is if she dates Taeyong.

"Did she kill them?" Taeil asked me all scared.

"Aniyo, she would never do such a thing. But she really scared them to death and those guys ran away. She laughed when she saw them backing away and chased them for fun. They were literally running for their lives." I shed a tear of joy upon remembering the scene.

But the boys on front of me reacted in a different way. They didn't even move a muscle.

"Gwenchana. Everything about her behavior depends upon a lot of situations. And I know she cares about Taeyong. So she'll protect him. Don't worry." They relaxed a bit. Just a bit.

"That should be Taeyong hyung's job to protect her." Mark commented.

"Let's hope for the best." Taeil said.

Meera..Don't let me down.

I felt some movements beside me and looked to see Ten sitting next to me. To be honest I feel quite flustered when he's near me.

"You and Meera are quite close right?"

"Yes. When we met for the first time I was quite indifferent to her although I don't remember our first meeting. She keeps reminding me of that time. Well I'm normally indifferent to a lot of people at first and most of them find it rude. But Meera never gave up and constantly irritated me initially and gradually we became really good friends." I smiled thinking about the first time we met that I don't even remember.

"Even though you seem to be carefree right now but I know you are equally worried about them. Especially her." He's damn right. 
She's been with me through tough times, protected me and cared about me when a lot of people left me because of my indifferent attitude.

I'm not indifferent, just a little slow in expressing my feelings. I too care about the people I love.

"Mallika? Will yo-"

"TAEYONG'S PHONE IS OUT OF COVERAGE AREA!" Doyoung shouted catching everyone's attention.

"Relax Doyoung. Told you they will he fine. Can you please get me something to eat?" I asked him so that he could be distracted for some time. Everyone understood my intention. Except for one.

"I'll get you something." Ten stood up and went for the kitchen. I grabbed his arm.
"I want to talk to you about something. Let him go." Jaehyun took Doyoung to the kitchen while I explained my intention to Ten.
"Aaah~" So cute.

"So what were you saying before Doyoung interrupted?"

"About that… I'll tell you when they both will come back safely." I simply nodded and went to join the others.

"Mallika noona?"
"Mark don't call me noona. You look older than me. It feels weird."
"Why it is that you and Meera noona look so young. Before you told me your age I thought that you guys were younger than me."

I just chuckled in response and made a 'T' sign with my hands. Top secret that is.

"What would Meera noona do if she's alone in a house and there is an intruder?" Haechan asked me.

"You guys are really interested in these things right?"
"Neh!" They all said in unision. They all!

"Well all depends on her mood. If she has a normal mood that time then she'll react like every other person under that situation.
But is she's having a mood swing then.."

"Then?" Jisung! <3
"Probably beat that guy to death with a rolling pin because he interrupted her when she was stanning EXO. Even a simple pencil is a weapon for her in extreme cases."

"Noona Daebak ida!" Jeno commented.
"I know!" I ruffled his hair.

Let's hope for the best…

Hey guys...the next update will be next week beacause I have to redo the initial chapters. The story will not be changed and you don't have to read those again.
I have to just increase their lengths and change the writing style a bit.

The recent chapters are much more matured compared to them. Please bear with you author-nim.
