Chapter fifty three

TAEYONG'S POV

I walked to a group of boys. They were playing something. I went on my knee and faced them. They stopped whatever they were playing and turned to me.

"Hello." They all gave me confused looks and looked at each other.

"Hello." They greeted me back.

"What are your names?" I asked them, making an eye contact with my boys. They have got my nose.

Ten was right. Taej looks a lot like me. The way I was back in high school. His face cut, lips and eyes. I can't stop  staring at him.

"My name is Sanam Suri." The curly haired kid stepped forward. Sanam.

The other boys introduced themseleves but I didn't pay any attention to them.

"And I am Taej Suri." Their accent is so cute. I just want to pinch their cheeks and hug them tight.

"San-"

I turned around to the familar voice and saw Meera. Her eyes widened when she looked at me.

"I w-" She walked past me to the boys and nudged them to go somewhere else.

"Meer-" She ignored me and walked away. I stood their like a statue hoping that she would atleast turn back. But she didn't.

I went back to the guys and talked to them.

"I saw what happened." Yuta said quietly, only for me to hear. I nodded a little.

Suddenly the lights went off. Our eyes shifted to a spotlight in between the hall. Ten was standing there. Everyone cheered for him as he walked towards Mallika.

He went on his right knee and asked for her hand. She got flustered and looked around to see people's reaction.

"Don't keep him waitinnngg~" Johnny hyung said. Mallika shyly took his hand and the couple walked to the middle to have their first dance. A minute later Ten's parents joined them. It didn't take long for other couples to join them.

I was about to go to Meera but Yuta beat me to it. I felt a bit hurt when he asked her for a dance and she accepted it. Yuta waved his hand secretly in the air to gain my attention. He then nodded at me. I understood his intention and nodded back.

We both know that she will refuse to dance with me but if I ask her when she's dancing with Yuta, she won't make a scene in front of everyone.

Lets hope for the best. 

MEERA'S POV

I am fuming with anger and disappointment right now. How dare he approach my kids?! How dare he act as if nothing happened?!

"Can I have a dance with the third prettiest woman of the night?" I turned to my left to see Yuta.

I raised my eye brow at his comment. "Third prettiest?"

"If not for that ugly frown on your face I would have said the 'second prettiest'." I chuckled a little.

"Now you look the second pretiest."

"Stop it~" He surely knows how to swoon a girl over. "No wonder you're still single." I playfully hit his arm.

"Shall I have a dance?" He extended his hand. I galdly took it as he led me to the dance floor.

We swayed to the music and talked randomly. He excitedly asked me about the upcoming rituals.

Few minutes later someone interrupted us. Yuta gladly stepped back and gave my hand to the new person.
