Chapter ten

The whole time afterwards I didn't dare look at Taeyong. Eveytime he caught me looking at him blood rushed to my cheeks. If a third person were to see this situation he would definitely take me for a creepy fan.

Whatever happened back there, isn't he affected by it at all? Not even a bit. Why I am the only one who seem to be surrounded by the air of awkwardness.

I was busy in my thoughts when a bottle of water was shoved in front of my face.

"Oi! But I'm not thirsty Taeil."

"You were spacing out so I thought ..." he was at loss of words so he just smiled and touched his cheeks. His only aegyo I guess.

I smiled in return. I really feel comfortable around him. He got my mind off Taeyong. He looked down. I placed my hands on his shoulder and he instantly looked in my direction.

"You know what? You should talk more confidently and express your feelings freely. No one will judge you. They all love you so much for that."

"Then can I ask you something?" he was quite hesitant but I just nodded.

"Do you like Taeyong?" seriously?

What are they up to? First Taeyong asked me if I like Taeil and now he is asking if I like Taeyong. Taeil is quite sensitive and emotional. I have to think twice before answering him. I have to build my answer in such a way so that he doesn't get me wrong and see my point of view.

I guess I was struggling too much in my mind when he said "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I was curious to know. You guys seem pretty close."

"Its nothing like that. We just enjoy each other's company."

"Then what about Doyoung?"

"What about him?" I asked confused. How did Doyoung got into our conversation?

"I mean he 'caught' you guys doing something right?" I never thought Taeil to be a kind of person who would be interested in other's matters.

"Usually I don't interfere in other's business.." he reads minds! "... but it involves my doengsang and I caught you stealing glances of him just a few moments ago" he smiled brightly in a teasing manner. That's a different side to Moon Taeil's personality.

"Yah!" I just looked away.

"On a serious note. He has a different vibe when he's with you." I didn't say anything so that he could continue but he didn't.

"Good different or bad different?"

"You have to figure that out."

"Can I tell you something? Friend to friend?"

"Yeah. Sure." He smiled.

"I'm really worried about you. I mean what kind of a girl you might end up with. You are such a caring, sensitive and emotional guy. What if you end up with a bitchy girl and what if she plays with your feelings?"

Before he could answer Johnny shouted "Enough of everyone's individual conversation. Lets do something as a group!"

So we started sitting around in a circle with Mallika on my left. I caught a glimpse of Taeyong who was making his way towards me. No. I can't face him now.

"Mind if I sit next to you?" I looked at the owner of the voice to my right only to find smiling Taeil.

"Yeah, sure!" I looked at Taeyong again who reached us by that time.

"You want to sit here?" Taeil asked him.

"Aniyo. Actually I wanted to sit next to Mallika. We never got to talk."

"So, may I?" he asked Mallika. She simply nodded. But I could feel her excitement being radiated from her.

All this time I managed not to look at Taeyong.
