Chapter seventeen

MALLIKA'S POV

*MANSAE MANSAE MANSAE MANSAE*

"AAH!" someone please stop this alarm. I closed my ears with my pillow.

"Mallika turn it off!!!" Meera threw her pillow at me.

"You can turn it off too!" I can't hold back either.

We are not morning people. But we need to get our ass of this bed so that we can explore the city.

We both reluctantly woke up and did our daily routines.

"How's your knee?"

"It's better. I can at least walk without any pain."

I was waiting for my turn to shower when I heard the hotel phone ring.

"Hello."

"Good Morning Ma'am! May I talk to Mallika Suri please?"

"Yes I'm Mallika."

"There is a call for you from Mr. Jung. Should I transfer the call?" Jaehyun?

"Yes please."

After a few moments.

"Mallika?" I heard Jaehyun's voice. Woohoo! AN IDOL IS CALLING ME!!

"Jaehyun?"

" Hey! Actually the thing is, Taeyong wants to apologize to Meera and we have a plan for that. Will you help us out?"

"Yeah sure."

"So what do you think?"

"It's great. So let's meet at 11:30?" I calculated the time before asking them.

"It's fine with us."

"But isn't the place a little crowded for you? I mean what if someone recognizes you guys?" They are taking a huge risk.

"But if you change the place then she might have a doubt on you. You guys have already planned to go there. So it will be a surprise for her. We will manage. Don't worry."

"Okay!"

We hung up the phone at the same time.

"Who was that?" Meera asked. I hope she didn't listen to our conversation. She is smart when it comes to these matters.

"It was from the reception. There was a slight confusion regarding our stay. It's cleared now."

"Hmm" she bought that? Well she isn't that smart I guess.

We quickly got ready. Correction. I quickly got ready and helped her in getting ready. Just to make the point clear, I even made her hair. She can't even make a simple ponytail by herself. Well I'm used to it by now.

"Lets go!"

We hailed a cab and made our way towards Namsan. Yes, I am planning to meet NCT there. The plan is that Taeyong would meet Meera in one those cable cars. Alone. Then he would apologize to her for being rude. How cute!

"Where should we go?" She asked.

"Cable car? It would be fun. Don't you think?" I glanced at her while she stopped at her tracks.

"Are you hiding something? You are not the one to ask for anyone's opinion. I expected you to say 'we'll go for cable car'." Dang! She knows me too well.

"Well... I want both of us to have fun. We have dreamed to come here together so.." Trust me, I'm not good at these things.

"Okay?" She doesn't seem too convinced. Ottoke?

We were strolling around trying different types of Korean street food, clicking a lot of pictures, snapshots and doing stupid stuff.

"Mallika! Wait!"

"What?"

She pointed to a ...a gift shop. "I want to go there." And then she made a puppy face. Yep, still no aegyo. "Pleeeasee!"

"Okay but be quick."

"Done! Hold my bag for some time." Aigoo! This girl. She can't even hold her bag.

It's past 11:30. What if they are already there?

Moments after I saw their car by the road. Ten made a gesture from afar asking about her. I simply pointed towards the shop. Few minutes later Taeyong got off the car and came towards me.

"Seriously Taeyong! You can't even wait a little longer." He just shrugged his shoulders.

"And when are you going to disguise yourself?"

"This is my disguise." He rolled his eyes. Well I should be the one doing that.

"You call this your disguise??!! Your fans would easily recognize you!!"

"No they wouldn't." How can he be so confident with his so called 'disguise'? I didn't feel like retorting so I made my way towards the car.

"Good Morning guys."

"Good morning Mallika."

"Who is responsible for this plan?" I was really curious to know who owns this plan. They just looked at each other and shrugged. Great!

"I'm getting this hunch that this plan won't work. It's a bad idea to leave them alone."

"It's going to be alright. Don't worry." Jaehyun seemed to have sensed my worry.

"Taeyong is a decent guy. He wouldn't do anything to your friend."

"No no! I'm worried about Taeyong." They all gave me confused looks. "I mean Meera is very moody. In a blink of an eye she could become a demon and in another blink she could be an angel. Her mood swings are on another level. Her emotions are extreme. Like if she starts crying then it's difficult to stop her. Even her parents' couldn't handle her."

They were all scared when I explained them my concern. "Don't worry. She has a presence of mind. I mean she might shout at him or scare him to death or even try to kill him."

I could hear them swallowing their own spit. It's going to be fun! Kekeke. To be honest her mood swings happen around those people with whom she is comfortable. So after yesterday's event she would definitely be uncomfortable around him.

"You look good today." Ten complimented me. Omo Ten!

"Thank you." I smiled at him. He smiled back. His smile is so charming.

I don't want to sound pessimistic but this plan is going to fail. Not by just one reason but many. 1. This place is crowded. People would easily recognize them. 2. His disguise. You cannot call that a disguise. 3. Taeyong is way excited too excited. Over-excited. 4. Meera's extreme mood swings.
