Chapter seven

TY'S POV

We soon reached the other side of the beach and I had to let her go.

"Annyeonghaseyo Meera imnida."

"Annyeonghaseyo Mallika imnida."

Then Meera looked at Yuta. "wah-tak-shi-noh-nah-mei-eh-wah-Meera-des."

I didn't know she could speak Japanese. Yuta was stunned for a moment. Not just him but everyone seemed surprised.

"My father works in a Japanese company." She cleared that for us.

Then the introductions and greetings continued. From my peripheral vision I could see Taeil hyung and Meera stealing glances with each other. What's with these two anyway?!

"We'll play beach ball!" Yuta announced and teams were to be divided. Since Meera couldn't play we were left with nine players.

"One of us has to withdraw I guess?" I said hoping so that I could talk to Meera and know more about her. I have no idea why I feel so attracted towards her? Maybe coz she is different. Different as in plain? Simple?

"I'll withdraw!"

Too late for me.

Everyone looked at Taeil hyung. They seemed fine with it and I just watched Taeil hyung walked towards Meera as he sat beside her. They both smiled at each other.

Only if I could sit beside her. Stop it Taeyong!

"Lets start the game!" Hansol hyung cheered us.

Team one- Me, Yuta, Hansol hyung and Ten.

Team two- Johnny, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Mallika.

The game started and soon we were leading with three points.

"Here I come!" Doyoung said while serving hard.

How did I know that was hard? Simple, because it hit my head. And the reason why it hit me...

"Aww~" Meera sqealed as Taeil hyung did aegyo on her special request.

Again how did I know? I was looking at them from my peripheral vision and turned my head a bit to get a clear view but didn't realise that Doyoung was about to serve. I guess, I was distracted.

Back to reality.

"AAH!" It surely was a rock solid hit.

"Gwenchana?" Eveyone asked with me while I was focusing on making my way towards Meera and sat beside her. It was an invlountary act. Trust me.

"Gwenchana?" she asked me.

I just nodded although it didn't hurt now. Actually I was enjoying the attention I was given. Her attention.

"Taeil hyung, now you have to take in his place." Ten said.

Yayaya! I'm mentally patting Ten's back. But I guess this happiness was kind of short lived. I saw him and Meera exchange glances before he went to play.

"So what were you guys talking about?" I asked to break the silence.

"Nothing much. Just about you guys and your songs. Your first impression on me and the.."

"How was my first impression on you?" I cut her off.

"Well it was quite alright." She paused. That's all?

"You are really attractive." she smiled at me. Attractive! Did you listen to her?! She said I'm attractive! STOP BEHAVING LIKE A HIGH SCHOOL GIRL TAEYONG! I mentally scolded myself.

"Hello?" I didn't realize that I was staring at her before she snapped me out of it.

"Would you like to walk with me?" I asked her while playing with my fingers.

"If only I could..." she replied sadly and pointed at her right knee.

"You have me." I blurted out. She looked at me with confusion.

"I ...umm I mean p-piggyback ride." I hope she says yes.

She slowly nodded before I helped her to get on my back. Her heartbeat I swear, doesn't slow down at all. I can hear her pounding heart everytime I give her a piggyback ride.
