Chapter twenty six

TAEYONG'S POV

"Do you know what Meera does first thing in the morning?"

My ears perked up.
"What?" I tried to maintain my coolness.

"She hugs her mother in the morning. But when her mother is not with her then she hugs the first person she sees."  First person as in anyone she sees first?

"Anyone she sees first." She read my mind.
"And after she drinks a glass of water." She continued.

"Okay!" I went outside to the living room and sat in the edge of the sofa closer to her room.

Minutes later she walked out of the room. Eyes half open, messy bun(very messy) and walking like zombie.

Even in this situation she doesn't fail to amuse me.
"Stop smiling..." Yuta said and walked towards the balcony to slide the door. The weather was quite nice because it rained last night.
Now rain has a different meaning for me. A good different.

She was coming in my direction but changed her tracks midway and went towards the balcony where Yuta was. He was looking at the view outside and turned around when Meera hugged him.
SHE GAVE HIM A HUG WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MINE!

All eyes were on him. His hands in the air in surrendering position while he muttered a small 'sorry' to me.

I just sat frozen and looked at Mallika.
"Forgot to tell you about the weather.." She looked away and continued talking to Ten. This girl!

Yuta tried to gently push her away but she didn't let go.

She asked him to stay still and rested her head on his chest. Yuta's cheek were bright red by now. He gave me an apologetic smile.

"Glass of water!" Mallika nudged me. I rushed to the kitchen and filled a glass with water.

I made my way to the living room and found Jaehyun sitting beside Meera looking at the view together.

"Too late." Mallika commented and pointed to the glass in Meera's hand.

Aaishh jinja…?!!

Meera came sat on the sofa and curled herself in a ball.
"Yesterday was the best night of my life." Her eyes were dreamy.

Upon hearing this, Taeil hyung's eyes widen in fear while Mallika started coughing.

Did something happen?
Well I have more things to worry about.   Manager-nim's text.
I am in deep trouble.

"Last night's kiss was the best kiss of my life." Meera continued.

I looked at Taeil hyung, his face was pale af whereas Mallika was quivering a bit. Did hyung kiss Meera?

"With whom?" Johnny hyung asked her and everyone moved a little closer to her.

"Kyungsoo~" She squeled and covered her face with her palms. Her face was as bright as a tomato.

What is she talking about?!

"Where did you guys meet!? He is really busy these days." Mark asked her.
"But why will he kiss you?" Hansol hyung asked her.
"First tell us where did you meet him? And when?!"
"In my dreams~" She looked at the balcony.

Everyone (except Mallika and Taeil hyung):    -_-

"The kiss felt so damn real!" She tried to make her point.
"You said the same thing when you kissed Taeyong in your dreams!" Mallika retorted.

"Yah! It was a lo-long t-time back!" She is stuttering. That means it's true! She kissed ME in her dreams.

"Jinja?" Yuta asked in excitement.
"I have to go to the bathroom." She rushed to the bathroom and avoided any kind of eye contact with me.

"Is it true?" I asked Mallika to be sure.
"Damn true."

After eating breakfast Jaehyun and Ten dropped them at their hotel while I made my way to the S.M.

Manager-nim greeted me the moment I entered and I bowed.

"What are you upto Lee Taeyong?" He asked me as we sat in his office.

"Long story." It's indeed a long story.
"I have told SooMan-ssi that it's nothing to worry about. She is probably some tourist and doesn't know about you guys and things happened. It was all coincidence. He believed me for now but he doesn't want any trouble." Well all of this is true by the way.

"But a few pictures were leaked online. Just be careful." I nodded.

"Meet SooMan-ssi for now." He told me all the details and lies which I was supposed to tell him. Most of it was true.

I knocked and he asked me to come in.

"Taeyong-ah.."
"Neh."
"You probably know why I have called you."
"Neh." I lowered my head a little and he asked me to sit on the couch. He sat beside me.

"Are you romantically involved with that girl?" I was taken aback cause I didn't expect him to be this straight forward.

"Animida." Not yet.

"Taeyong-ah, this no-relationship contract has been created for a purpose. I want you guys to enjoy your lives."

"You are in your 20s now. You would surely want to be with the girl you love. But it's for her own safety. Saesangs can hurt her. I hope you understand."

SooMan-ssi is really an experienced person. Even after lying to him about Meera, he isn't mad but concerned.

He means well and he does have a point.

But after last night's event I'm sure that Meera would be able to protect herself. She is a strong girl.

"And also you have to attend a small press conference regarding this matter. Everything will be planned. Don't worry."

I nodded and left for the dorms.

TEN'S POV

"Bye guys! Take care." Jaehyun bid his byes when we reached their hotel.

"Thank you so much. This is the best vacation ever. We literally lived every fan girl's dream!" Meera exclaimed.

"We really enjoyed. Thank you so much for you time." Mallika said.

"Where is the Lotte World? I mean where is its exact location? If we need to take bus or.." Meera asked us.

"You guys are going Lotte World?" I asked them and they nodded.

I told them the way and they thanked me again.

They turned around and walked away. I was rolling my windows down when I noticed that Meera turned and winked at me.

Does she know? But how?
