Gianna

"Your here?" Harley spoke, as I opened up my apartment with the key I had. I shut the door and Harley ran over to me, examining the cut on my head.

Once she saw it, her eyes widened.

"Wait, how? When? Who? Why? Okay first, who do I have to kill?" She question, but I stopped her.

"Okay first-" I told her, explaining the whole story. How I crashed into the guy, Jackson, and he gave me some money, and he gave me a ride home. Once I finished, Harley smiled.

"So was this Jackson guy cute?" Harley asked.

"Harley!" I spoke, as I smacked her on the arm. She was my best friend, but sometimes she said the most random things!

"He was alright, but he's not really my type. And is that what you really ask about? You know I haven't dated anyone since him." I spoke, whispering the last part. Harley's facial expression changed from happy to apologetic.

"Gianna, I'm sorry." She said, as the memories of him flashed through my mind, but I pushed them away.

"It's fine, where are the kids?" I questioned her. She had told me the kids were in bed and asleep. Her daughter, Sadie was passed out in Aspens room, on her pull out bed.

Sadie was the same age as Aspen, and both seemed to get along and were best friends. After all the commotion, Harley woke Sadie up and the two left.

I went into the bathroom, and looked at my gash in the mirror. It was healing itself, which would mean it didn't need stitches, which was a good thing.

I suddenly felt the urge to pee and take a shower. After I did my business, I took a quick shower and changed into pajamas. I then went to my room and crashed on the bed.

----

"Mom, mom? Get up! It's time for school!" Aspen spoke, shaking me awake. I groaned as I opened my eyes, getting used to the light. Her dark brown hair was put into a headband.

I was instantly met with Aspen's green eyes. Aspen had inherited my hair, but for some reason, had bright green eyes. On the contrary, I had dark brown hair, like Aspen's, but blueish-greenish eyes.

While Carlie and my little brother Logan had full on blue eyes, I had inherited a recessive trait that ran in my dad's side, which caused me to have bright blueish and greenish eyes.

"What time is it?" I asked, looking over at my phone.

7:55 am

Shit

"We are late! Uh, Aspen, are your brothers ready?" I asked her, as she nodded her head. I frantically got up and started to get ready, all while making a small lunch for the kids in return for us being late.

Once I got everyone ready, I had realized that we didn't have a car.

"Fuck, we don't have a car!" I mumbled to myself. The kids were in back of me, and talking amongst themselves. I could hear Max giggling from some joke.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Blake questioned. I turned around, and faced my son. Blake had also inherited my hair color and my eye color. Other than that, he looked nothing like me.

Meanwhile, Max had light blond hair with blue eyes that he had gotten from his father.

"Nothing Blake, just figuring out how we could get to work and school!" I said to him, putting on a fake smile. I knew if I didn't get to work, I would risk loosing my job and that couldn't happen.
