Since then, we started kissing every other two days.

I know, 7th graders kissing? Isn't that a bit too young?

I don't know, I don't care. I really don't, because being with Oliver was one of the few things that actually made me really happy.

We would kiss on the bus rides home, our secret spot at school when we stayed after school, when we hung out at the local park. We didn't care whether strangers saw us or our friends. Just if his parents or our teachers didn't see, it was fine. Because he wasn't supposed to date until he was a sophomore... But he took risks. We hadn't ever gone on a date yet, but I understood. We would just hang out at the park, holding hands on the swings.

I really loved him. Oliver was amazing. His smile, his chocolate brown eyes, his warm hands. It made me feel special, he made me feel like I was his one and only. I felt like the only girl in the world to him. I finally felt really wanted by a guy. A guy that I liked.

It was the week after Valentine's Day and the mid February breeze tossed my hair around.

"So Leigh, guess what?" Paige said as we started for the bus stop.

"Mm?" I was busy munching on my toast smothered with Nutella.

"Stop eating your breakfast and guess!"

"Yew gat a voyvfrend?" I guessed with my mouth full.

"Don't talk with your mouth full! And, no sadly I did not get a boyfriend."

"What then?" I asked, finally swallowing.

"You haven't met the new kids yet 'cause you were sick. Except for that week of Valentine's Day, which stupidly had to be the week that we had three days off and the rest of the week was when the new students had more orientation stuff. During school." she explained.

"That's stupid... But ooh! Are there any hot guys?" I asked interested.

"Babe, you have a boyfriend."

"I know, but I could be friends with one of them and hook you two up!" I said with a grin.

"No. You know who I want and it's not gonna change."

"Whatever you say Paige," I said, winking at her.

"Shut up. Anyways, there's a really hot British-Japanese guy and a hot British-Thai guy!" she exclaimed.

"Paaige, I thought your heart belonged to Joe Larsen?" I smirked.

"Just because I say they're hot, doesn't mean I like them," she retorted.
