A gorgeous woman in her middle 20s was having her eyes fixated on the wide screen of her Mac whilst her hands kept scrolling the mouse and occasionally typing.

She tiredly sighed as she put down her black-framed glasses, feeling her vision slightly burning due to the excessive staring at the screen.

While untying her hair which she had dyed blonde a few months ago, Kim Taeyeon spun on her black leather seat.

She stared out to the clear glass wall behind her, throwing her sight at the numerous skycrappers in Seoul.

She was exhausted of her work, obviously. Having to check every detail now and then, thinking about new ideas and solutions to critical problems, making decisions, leading while building relations with both fellow business owners and employees, were not easy things to execute. Even for the great, unwavered Kim Taeyeon.

However there was no single second that she regretted it nor wanted to quit her job. Not when she was getting to the top—reaching her dreams. Moreover, when she could finally lead and expand her company in her true identity; Miss Kim Taeyeon.

She had long ago courageously revealed identity as a woman, once she felt things were going stable and under control. Her employees and the world were beyond shocked, of course. Some even cancelled the deals and cut their connections, but some stayed and still put faith in her, despite of her being a young woman. They thought that she had been working outstandingly well, so why should they break the relations just because the awesome Mr. Kim was actually a woman? A beautiful one, nonetheless.

Later those who stayed loyal to her were grateful for their decisions, since after revealing herself, the stocks of Taeyeon‘s company had increased enormously due to her creative, yet hardworking and humble self. Not to mention the touching story of her hardships behind her disguise as a man successfully stole people’s sympathy, thus boosted  her popularity even more.

And Kim Taeyeon was just being Kim Taeyeon.

She had predicted it all, and secretly smugly smiled at the big success of her plans.

Just then a voice called her name and she almost jumped out of her seat in suprise.

“Director Kim!”

Taeyeon flinched and spun her chair, facing her secretary who was already at the door, holding some colorful folders.

“Jesus Christ, you could’ve knocked, Im Yoona!” Taeyeon sputtered as she straightened her sitting position.

“I have knocked for several times but it seems you were too absorbed in your own world, Taeng—I mean Director Kim.” Yoona nonchalantly walked in and stood across Taeyeon’s desk. “You should’ve fixed the door lock if you didn’t want to be caught daydreaming, y’know.”

“Aish, then fix it for me, Yoong.” Taeyeon grumbled, although she could never be mad at Yoona, one of her very few trusted employees who was already like a sister to her, since she had been working for Taeyeon from the very beginning.

“Yeah yeah I’ll do it later.” Yoona shrugged as she opened her journal. “But right now, my schedule says you’ve got to join me to interview the job applicants.”

“Alright. Wait.. what applicants?”

“For the translator, remember?” Yoona closed her journal, raising an eyebrow to her boss. “You’re the one who said that we would expand our international cooperation—“

“I’ve got it, I’ve got it,” Taeyeon shushed her secretary as she waved her hand, dismissing the latter. Yoona was a dependable, hardworking and passionate worker, but sometimes she could be a bit annoying with her over talkative personality.
