“No way.” Tiffany gasped as she glanced at the A4 sketchbook.“You’ve got to be kidding me, Jess.”“Oh come on, tell me what you’re thinking, girl!” Jessica bit her bottom lip in excitement upon watching the latter’s gleaming, disbelief expression.
“Are you kidding me? Your designs are beyond awesome, Jessi!”Tiffany exclaimed, her eyes wide with astonishment and fascination. “And this—isn’t this one piece dress the hottest issue last summer? Park Shin Hye and Shin Se Kyung endorsed this, didn’t they?”
“Well, you surely know a lot!” Jessica nodded eagerly as Tiffany flipped through some pages, occasionally gawking and squealing upon seeing the beautiful sketches of various designs Jessica had scribbled.
“Jesus Christ! These are the tux and glasses Kim Soo Hyun wore in his latest drama! These babies are sooo charming, Jess!”
“Well wait until you see the ones I’ve planned to present on my upcoming fashion show!”
“Oh My God! Can I see it? Can I see it? Oh come on, let me see it!”
Just then the owner of the office; the young enterpreneur, disrupting their passionate conversations by clearing her throat. Both of the beautiful ladies turned to the CEO and were welcomed with an awkward smile.
“Uhm, ladies.” Taeyeon had her cheek rested on her knuckle.
For her, nothing was more heart-warming and amusing than watching how her two favorite women got along like they had known each other for ages, recalling how the day before they had been about to kill and be killed by one another.
However, the fact that they had been constantly conversing and squealing in high-pitch about some fashion stuff Taeyeon wasn’t interested upon and—mind you—in English, also in her office, came as slight bewilderment and distraction to her work. Sure, the 26-year-old woman had learnt the language and mastered some stages, but the storm conversation in rapid pace and totally foreign accent was a level Taeyeon hadn’t reached just yet.
“Oh, I’m sorry, baby. Are we bothering you?” Tiffany asked apologetically.
“We must be, Tiff. Look at her wrinkled forehead—we must’ve been giving her headache!”
“No, I—“
“Shall we move to a cafe or maybe a restaurant?” Jessica suggested as she stood up, gathering her stuff and purse.
“Oh, I know a nice cafe around the corner, Jess. Let’s go!” Tiffany invited as she helped Jessica bring her journals and catalogues.
“Wait—“
Both of the women flashed blindingly happy smiles to the confused CEO.
“See you later, Taeyeon!”
“See you later, baby!”
Then they stepped out of the room whilst engrossing in their conversations, closing the door after that, leaving the speechless Taeyeon. She frowned as she fixed her black-framed glasses.
“..Did they just dump me?”

Tiffany had brought Jessica to one of her favorite cafe nearby the office. The modern wooden interior, adorned with the red-brick wall created a cozy, lavish, yet homey atmosphere. What added a plus point to the cafe despite of their already delicious various coffees, was that the baristas, waiters, and waitress were all good-looking—much to the customers’ delight.
