Tessa's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It was 8 am. Thank god I didn't have training today. Robin literally made every inch of my body ache.

We've been training hard all week. It was Sunday thankfully and we didn't have training. Even though I dreaded it , I had to admit I felt stronger. I was ready to take the second potion. But I had to tell Hunter first. I wouldn't want him freaking out when he finds me blacked out on the floor.

Speaking of Hunter. It's been a week since that night in the kitchen. Thinking about it made me blush. I was still getting used to the idea. We hardly spoke all week.

He had been busy trying to protect his pack. So far we've not only been attacked by vampires, but by rogue wolves too. He had a lot of weight on his shoulders, so I didn't want to complain about not giving me enough attention.

But I missed him terribly. Everytime we were alone or about to kiss someone interrupted us and he would back away from me. Like he didn't want me. Which irritated me and kept me frustrated.

And most nights nothing happened because I would be too tired to wait up for him. He's been coming home around midnight. Sometimes later.

I wanted to plan a special day for us. But we were never alone. We always had someone with us. Or someone needed him. And I can't tell him to just ignore them. But I needed to figure out how . I couldn't stand being farther than this.

I was sure he wouldn't want to do anything today. Because he had a pack barbecue. It would be rude of him not to go. So I decided to go with him. This way I'll be introduced to the pack and I'll get to spend some time with him.

I jumped out of bed and I went to the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and hair. I looked down at my black pajama shorts and my grey vneck tshirt. Should I change or just go down like this. Hmm. I'll just go down like this.

I went downstairs and I saw my mate drinking coffee in his office and looking at some papers. I knock on his door and he looks up at me and smiles.

"Good morning. " I say and I take a seat in front of his table.

"Morning Tessa. Your up early." He tells me.

"I wanted to see you before you went out." I say shyly.

"I know I haven't been home a lot lately, but I'm doing this for you. I have to keep you safe. Reginas protection isn't helping." He says running his hands through his hair. He did that when he was stressed.

"It's okay Hunter, your just being a great Alpha. Besides Well be able to spend some time together at the barbecue." I say.

"Your coming?" He asks in disbelief.

"Yup. I want to meet our pack." I say and he stands up and sits across from me. He takes my hand in his and I move closer.

"Are you sure Tessa? If you need more time it's okay." He tells me.

"I'm sure. I am Luna after all. I have my duties towards the pack." I tell him and he kisses the palm of my hand.

"Your amazing , did you know that?" He tells me and I blush.

"Alpha.." Isaac says as he walks in on us and then he bows.

"Yes?" Hunter says annoyed.

"I'm sorry for interrupting,  but the Alphas will be arriving shortly with their mates." He tells him.

"Okay, well be there soon." He tells him and he walks out.

"What alphas?" I ask.

"Old friends of my fathers. They had a secret community where they did research on different kinds of creatures. Maybe they have some more information to give us about your parents. " He tells me.
