Toni drove home and went straight into her bedroom, meanwhile Ken was at work, and Kendall was at her mother's house for the week. She closed all the curtains and turned off the lights. She goes in her bed and starts to cry, tremendously. She heard a knock on the door, and it was Kenny.

"What's the matter?" Ken asked. He dropped his briefcase and rushed to be by her side. Toni wiped her eyes.

"I can't be a mother." Toni said. Ken sighed and slightly opened the curtains that were closed. He saw Toni's swollen and red eyes.

"It's not your fault, at all. Keep trying and let's see what happens. But you'll be someone's mother, soon." Ken said.

Two weeks later:

Toni made a chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing, which was her favorite. She was watching Empire and felt nauseous out of nowhere. She drank water and ginger ale which didn't help, at all.

"Gosh, what is wrong with me?" Toni asked to herself. She didn't want to take a pregnancy test cause she knew it would be negative, but she did it just to be sure.

"Here goes nothing." Toni said. She peed on two sticks and waited three minutes for the results to come in. She didn't bother to look at the tests, so she threw them away. Kendall came in from work and looked at Toni.

"Hey Toni." Kendall smiled.

"Hey honey, how was school and work?" Toni asked. Kendall worked at the mall being a cashier at Nike.

"It was great, I got you a shirt from Nike, I hope you like it." Kendall said. She gave Toni the bag and saw the shirt.

"Why is this an extra large shirt? I wear either a small or medium sized shirt." Toni said. Kendall entered the bathroom to use it.

"It's because when you're pregnant, you expand, so the shirt is big so you can wear it." Kendall said.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about. I can't conceive because I'm not ovulating. I might as well adopt." Toni said. Kendall was silent for ten seconds.

"Kendall." Toni said while knocking on the door. Kendall opened the door and smiled.

"You don't have to adopt." Kendall said.

"I can't carry children." Toni said. Kendall hugged her, tightly.

"Well, according to these two pregnancy tests, you're carrying one right now." Kendall said. She handed the tests to Toni and she couldn't believe her eyes.

"I'm pregnant." Toni smiled.
