After the doctor's appointment, Ken drove back home, with Toni sitting in the passenger's seat, silent. He placed his hands on her left thigh, and she wiped her eyes.

"I know you're unhappy about us not having a baby, but you can find someone else who can carry your child." Toni said.

"I would never leave you. In sickness and health, I took those seriously. I'm not leaving your side, just because you cannot get pregnant. I love you, Toni and I want you to know that." Ken said while kissing her hand.

"Thanks Kenny, I needed that." Toni said while caressing his index finger.

"If we ever get pregnant, do you think I'd look fabulous gaining all that weight, all that morning sickness, hormones and constant food cravings?" Toni asked looking outside her window.

"More like perfect." Ken said. Toni kissed his jawline and she blushed. She sat back and rubbed her stomach in a circular motion. Kenny pulled up into their driveway, and he helped Toni out of the car.

"I'm scared to tell my family that they can't receive a child from us. All of my siblings have a child, I'm surprised Tamar broke down and had Logie, and now she's expecting again. I'm the oldest and I have no children." Toni said.

"Your family is going to support you, regardless of our situation." Ken said. Toni sighed and sat on the couch.

"Can we try one more time tonight, please?" Toni asked. Ken nodded his head and kissed her forehead before entering the kitchen.
