You, Me, and Baby?

Toni knew she screwed up badly, knowing that Kendall was leaving to stay with her mother. She walked upstairs and fell on the bed, right next to Kenneth.

"She's gone. I made an attempt to talk with her about what happened, but she was too upset. She hates me now, and I don't know what to do." Toni cried. She felt her husband's hands on her back, rubbing it gently.

"Look, my love, she's going to come back. Kendall needs time to cool off, give it a day or two. Why don't you get into something cozy, and I fix you a nice dinner? How does that sound?" Ken said. Toni rose up from laying down and smiled.

"Thank you, Ken. Can you give me a foot massage afterwards? It's been a while." Toni said. Ken smiled and kissed Toni's forehead.
He made his way downstairs and started to prepare Toni's dinner, in the meantime, Toni was changing into a basic T-shirt, and sweat shorts.

"Let's see what's on TV." Toni said to herself. She was flicking through channels and she saw her favorite movie, 'Me before You', just starting. Five minutes later, Ken came in with a tray with Toni's dinner consisting of garlic mashed potatoes, pork chops, sautéed asparagus, and jasmine rice.

"Thank you, Husband. Do you want some?" Toni asked while holding the mash potatoes on the fork, towards Ken's lips.

"No, thank you. Enjoy it for you and the baby." Ken smiled. He laid next to his wife, and he was watching the movie. He received a text from his ex-wife:

Patrice E.: "Stay your assuming ass away from my daughter. Tell your wife/baby momma to never speak of Kendall, because the next time she does.. I'm kicking her ass."

Ken ignored the text message and turned off his phone. He was annoyed that Patrice was disrespecting him and his wife. Toni noticed Ken's face.

"You alright?" Toni asked. Ken nodded his head and continued to watch the movie, in bed.
