Journey of a Lucky Trainer

Chapter 4

As we bring our attention to Cerulean City, we find ourselves looking at a very different group of travelers from the ones we left earlier. As the city comes into view, we find Ash, Misty, and Brock traveling together as they find the sign marking their entrance to Cerulean City. Ash takes notice of a note drawn onto the sign that read as, 'Ash Stinks. Gary was here.' Ash gritted his teeth in frustration. 

"Waaaaaah! I can't stand Gary!" He groaned

As Ash was belly aching over the note scribbled onto the sign, Brock noticed a young woman kneeling on the ground feeding two Pokémon. She had long black hair that went passed her shoulders, dark blue eyes, a pair of square lense glasses, a red long sleeve shirt, black jeans, and a grey pair of sneakers. Brock began blushing at the sight of her. He scrambled over to her, and took in a deep breath.

"Hi there, my name's Brock. What's a pretty forest like you doing in a girl like this? I mean what's ummm...those are some nice Pokémon you have there." Brock said

She put a hand close to her mouth and started laughing at him, and smiling. She even blushed a little bit.

"Wow, you're pretty funny. My name's Ruby." She said

Ash and Misty where dumbfounded. Brock had actually managed to find a girl who not only thought he was funny, but even went as far as to introduce herself to him. She smiled and picked up her Jigglypuff.

"This is my Jigglypuff. Her name's Jiggles." She said

Ash smiled and pulled out his Pokédex.

"Wow, what's a Jigglypuff?" He asked

Dexter opened up for Ash, and a picture of a Jigglypuff appeared on the screen.

"Jigglypuff. The Balloon Pokemon. It captivates it's foes with it's huge round eyes, then lulls them to sleep with its soothing song." Dexter said

Ash closed Dexter and looked at the Jigglypuff. Ruby rubbed the Jigglypuff's head, and it started laughing. Ash looked down at her other Pokémon. It had large blue eyes almost like the Jigglypuff, but it's fur pattern was white with patches of pink at the ends of its paws, tail, and ears. Ash opened his Pokédex and aimed it at the Pokémon. Dexter opened, but nothing came up.

"Data not found." Dexter reported

The Pokémon sat down and smiled at everyone.

"What's that? My Pokédex has no entries." Ash asked

Ruby smiled and put Juggles down.

"This is my Sylveon. I named her Sylvia." Ruby answered

Brock knelt down by the Sylveon and examined her closely.

"What is she?" He asked

"She's a fairy type. I evolved her from an Eevee." She answered

Brock was surprised to say the least. As far as they all had known, there were only three different evolutions for an Eevee. This Pokémon wasn't just a new evolution, it had never been recorded before. As they marveled at the Eevee, Ash's rival Gary was leaving the city. He stopped when he saw Ash. Ash glared at him with a look of disgust.

"What do you want?" He asked

"Nothing from you chump. But if you wanna see a real trainer in action, head into the Cerulean Gym. He's challenged all three Gym Leaders to three on three battles. He's already mopped the floor with the first two. I think he's about to battle with Violet." Gary answered

At the sound of his words, Ash became very excited. He started running into the city, and Brock grabbed Misty to pull along and try to catch up with Ash. Ruby put Jiggles in her backpack, and Sylvia wrapped one of her feelers around Ruby's hand. Soon, they too were running to catch up with Ash and the group.
