chapter.4 :Laser beak

    The next time Mika awoke she was awaken by jack who looked down at her with a small smile "its noon and your still not up" he said with a laugh. Mika only looked at him. She looked around the room and noticed she was back in her room, at first she was confused. What happened to the robots? Or where she was left at? She was beyond confused but instead of asking questions she shook her head and smiled at jack. "my mom wanted to tell you there's a marathon of Winx club on if you want to watch." At that Mika's head shot up. She couldn't resist the urge to watch her favorite cartoon. As she jumped out of bet she dashed past jack who only watched with an amused look on his face. It was evident that even when Mika didn't act like her age she acted much like a five year old would. "Wait!" jack called "here" he handed her a bowl of macaroni and cheese and watched as she smiled and dashed off.

As Mika ran down the hall she past June, who knew where she was going, she too couldn't help but smile, it was good to see Mika up and about once again and not just see the lifeless little girl they had known for a few months. As Mika ran into the living room she past Raf who was on his laptop, as usual, sitting on one of the few chairs. She saw Miko with the remote, looked at the TV, then without waisting a minute she turned back to Miko and shoved her off the couch and grabbed the remote from her. "What was that for?" Miko asked as she stood back up "I was just watching a slash monkey concert live!" Mika shrugged as she flipped through channels until she came to Nick' she was happy to know she hadn't missed much of the first episode.

"Looks like someone's happy to watch TV" Raf said with a laugh

Mika shrugged and turned to the TV focusing on the images in front of her.

Jack took a bowl of Marconi and cheese out to the gauge. As he took a bite he looked at arcee who was in vehicle mode. "I did what you told me to but I still don't understand why slipping energon into her food is so important." He said "doesn't that hurt a human anyways?"

Arcee transformed and leaned down toads jack. "It's not my orders it's ratchet's, I'm not really sure why either but the only thing I've heard about it was she had a cybertronian signal but still wasn't showing any traces of being cybertronian" she said

"Maybe it's a defect maybe he's wrong" jack said, worried for his foster sister

"Ratchets really wrong and while I do question him sometimes on his sanity I'm sure there's a point to slipping energon to her after all if he wanted it can't be all bad"

"I guess you're right but still what if something goes wrong?" Jack said as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously

"Then we're get her to ratchet as quickly as possible"

As Mika took a bite of her food she was greeted with a slight strange taste she looked down into the bowl and saw little flakes of blue mixed into the macaroni, as she picked a piece of macroni up with her fork and inspectected it she took a bite of it and found that it tasted normal. 'That's weird' she thought to herself.

'You better refuel' the voice, (cybertronian spirit) said with a slight chuckle at the teens curiosity.

In the short time Mika had been hit by the mysterious light, she had come to know 'the voice' as a friend or even perhaps a sister or mother, She never understood how another living life form could live inside someone but with the help up 'the voice' she was able to figure it out, but thought nothing of it as she had gotten used to hearing the voice daily.

'What is this?' Mika thought/asked

'It's nothing just something to give it flavor do you really just like your 'macaroni and cheese' with just cheese?" the voice asked

With a shrug Mika picked up more with the fork and took a bite 'can't be all bad then' she thought to herself Mika looked back up at the tv and saw the theme song for season one of winx club play.

As the the moon shown bright over jasper, laser beak flew over jasper as he scanned the house looking for the right one once again he couldn't help but wonder why his master would want to watch over a pathetic little human. As the bird like deception flew over the many houses he finally came to rest on one. As he took in his surroundings he took note of Arcee not being there, evidence of no bio signature from her that showed up on his scans. As he flew down from the roof he came to rest on the back porch. He quickly took notice of Mika who was still awake laying on the couch covered up with a blanket, eyes glued to the TV. It amazed laser beak how a human could go so long without sleep but then again it also didn't. Humans could do things most cybertronians didn't expect. As he continued to watch he noticed Mika get up, stretch then walk out of the room into the kitchen to get something to drink. As she got her drink she walked back into the living room, only to nearly drop the cup when she caught a glimpse of laser beak out the window. Mika carefully set the cup on the side table and walked over to the window. Without thinking she slid the window open and stepped back allowing laser beak to dump in. As if to answer her unanswered questions Laser beak simply stared at her for a few seconds before flying up and landing on the couch.

Mika at first was startled by the sudden movements but soon calmed down she slowly sat down on the other end of the couch only for laser beak to fly over and sit beside her almost like he was asleep, he hunkered down. Mika who wasn't sure what tod sat there for a minute before finally wrapping the blanket around her and laying back down on the couch to finish the marathon of winx club
