My alarm blasts in my ear again making me wake from my slumber. God, wonderful slumber, beautiful sleep, why can't I sleep forever? My shift today again starts at nine this morning. But I played it smart and set my alarm last night. This is so I'm not in such of a rush today. I sit up and stretch for a second or two before getting off the bed. I make it then grab my clothes for the day. I take them into the bathroom with me so I can shower.

I turn the water on in my shower and wait for it to warm up. I strip down nude before I stick my hand past the shower curtain to feel the water. I get in when I feel it is warm enough. I wash my body and shave my legs. I use my in shower moisturizer to make my skin soft before getting out. I put on some lotion to add to the body wash and it also makes my skin soft so that's a plus too. I put on deodorant then put on my clothes. I adjust the shirt so that it comes to just above my belly button. I undo the belt on my skirt before pulling the skirt up to meet the shirt. I fasten the belt and look in the mirror.

"Wow hot stuff, where are you off to?" Sashene whistles from my door way.

"Work, speaking of why aren't you on your way" I ask her

"I have of today"

"Oh alright cool, hey my car broke down, do you think I could use yours?"

"No" she shakes her head but when I look over to her she just smiles "you don't have to ask me"

"Thank you lifesaver" I smile. I spritz on some perfume before starting to styles my hair. I use the hurling iron to put small rings in my hair. I spray half a bottle of hairspray in it so it will hold before going back into the closet.

"Sashene can you help me"

"What do you need help with?"

"What shoes would go?"

"We'll any pair of the six thousand vans you have would go, or heals, no baby dolls though it wouldn't look right" Vans are my absolute favorite show ever. I have about seventeen pairs, I want all color schemes and combos. My parents usually get me a pair for Christmas or my birthday but not one year goes by without me getting a new pair.

"So these would go?" I ask as I pick up the blue and black vans that match the outfit perfectly. The top I'm wearing is blue while the skirt I have is black so it would look good.

"Yes they would be good together and you would be a little more comfortable with these then heels."

"Okay good" I smile. I put on some of the small socks and slip on my shoes. I look in the mirror and start to apply some light makeup. I hate makeup it feel like every single girl has beauty regardless. That no one needs makeup to look amazing, they just need to be themselves. So that is why I don't use a whole lot of makeup and I like to stay natural. Plus I think makeup weighs down your face, it's a weird concept but I can't stand stuff all over my face.

"Want breakfast"

"We don't have anything in the house"

"Shit that's right, I will have to grab at work then, want be to bring you something back."

"Muffin"

"Chocolate chip"

"Mhm"

"Great, oh and I have a date Friday night so I probably won't be here after maybe eight,"

"Kay I won't wait up" she wiggles her eyebrows before leaving my room. I brush my teeth then head downstairs to the living room. I sit back against the clinch and turn the tv on. My favorite band is on the screen and the news reporter had a huge smile on their face.
