Chapter 14

(Kira's POV)

"So now where will you go" He asks against my hair. I sniffle into his shoulder before letting out another sob.

"I don't know"

"You know you could stay here if you want"

"No, I couldn't, I won't." I say as I push him away from me gently. "I am strong, I will find somewhere"

"Kira come on, you can depend on me." I shake my head and wipe my face with my hands

"No I am alright."

"Kira stop acting like you don't need someone to help you."

"But you don't understand! I watched my sister for years suffer from being in a relationship where all he did was put her down after assuring her that he would be there. I know that you're not like that but I still have the pain of watching that and it is hard to open up and need someone."

"Listen to me, if you need me I am going to be here alright? I will be there, I don't ever go back on my word." His dark eyes bore into me. If feels like he is staring at my soul. I am in a vulnerable place and he is just watching me break down over something so stupid. My phone rings loudly through the otherwise quiet room and I take it from the table.

"Hello."

"Kira, I took care of everything, you will be staying at the Premier Inn by the London Eye"

"You did what?"

"I payed for you to stay there."

"Why?"

"Because you needed somewhere to go and I took care of it, your stuff is all in a storage unit too."

"Joey I love you so much" I say and I can feel the pain of trying to hold back tears.

"Don't cry, just have Liam take you there when you are ready I am going to go home and chill for a couple okay if you need me I want you to call me."

"Okay I will" I sniff,

"Alright talk to you later, bye"

"Bye" I hang up the phone and take a deep breath before shaking my head. I put my head in my hands then I feel warm arms wrap around me. I take another deep breath then out my hands down and lean against Liam.

"Come on Kira lets sit down okay." He pulls me to the couch with him and sits down and pulls me down onto his lap.

"I'm sorry Liam"

"Why? What for?"

"For having to see me like this. You probably think I am some sort of nut."

"Kira everybody has hard times, believe me, you are only human."

"I hate my life right now."

"Tomorrow you and I can go and look for a job"

"Okay," I yawn

"Go up to my room and lay down babe"

"You sure?" I ask against his chest

"Yeah babe I don't want you to be tired, so go ahead up."

"Kay" I stand and rub my eyes before heading upstairs into his room. I look around before sitting down on the left side of the bed. I kick off my shoes and then put my legs up on the bed. I lay down against the soft pillow and close my eyes.

(Liam's POV)

I don't know the whole story of what happened between Kira and Sashene but I know that Kira is really upset about everything. When she called she was okay but when I showed up and she got in the car she just let loose and let all the emotion she was holding in go. She was crying and sobbing. It broke my heart to see her like that. There is a knock at the door and I stand to answer it. As I draw closer whoever it is knocks again but louder this time.
