Chapter 36

Ah, sweet home Alabama, where the skies are so blue. This is a state no matter what the rumor about it is, is a state that has always been on my bucket list. So many tragic yet fascinating history has happened here. I really never was a history buff but I mean nonetheless its interesting. The concert was actually a few days ago but the boys decided that we could stay an extra day and still make it to where we need to be. I cant believe we are about halfway through tour already. I mean we only have about a little bit more before we get to go home.

Liam has a whole history day planned for us today. He said the first stop in the civil rights museum and then the memorial and then the space center! This is so exciting because I admire Martin Luther King Jr and everything he has done. I mean everyone should be treated equally and he was a big part of that movement. No one group is better than any other group and that is so important. When we arrive at the museum there are several people standing outside in matching uniforms.

"Welcome" One man smiles at the group and Liam makes his way to the head of the group.

"We were the private group reserved for the tour"

"Wonderful, we have been looking forward to you arriving all day. Are you guys ready for your tour?"

"Uh yeah!" I say enthusiastically. I am so excited to learn more than what I know. I mean obviously we learn this stuff in school but we dont get to learn everything, that would take up the whole year alone! After an hour of learning and exploring the history of the great civil rights movement we thank the staff for allowing us to rent the building and explore with a personal tour guide. The next stop on the list is the memorial, rosa parks museum and the legacy museum. Obviously we only planned on seeing the memorial and the civil rights museum but I did some research and the Rosa Parks museum and the legacy museum are in the same city, and not that far apart.

"That was super interesting, we only used to just touch on those subjects in school" Liam smiles at me. I nod before taking his hand in mine, I kiss his lips a few times.

"It is always interesting to learn about that kind thing. I honestly wished we would cover a bit more than we did but I mean other history is important too"

"Youre right, but this is our opportunity to learn more and I am glad that I planned this and I am even more excited you found a few more places in the same city."

"Well I was just seeing what else we could do for the day because the next concert isnt for another two days."

"Right, well after today we actually start heading to Florida for a few days and then up and around"

"Yeah" I nod. I lay my head against his shoulder. Harry is the one driving the van we rented for the day, we elected him this time considering Niall was the elect the last time. I just kinda close my eyes and listen to the quiet chatter amongst the group. Many conversations go on, I cannot focus on a single conversation, but as we drive the groups swivel in an out of topics on a whim.

The ride feels long but I know its not because the two cities are only about an hour and a half away, maybe less depending on traffic. Louis starts a conversation though that makes me become more aware.

"So where is the weirdest place you have had sex"

"Lou. . ." Liam warns but he just sighs

"She isnt even awake"

"I am but I am intrigued so please continue"

"Oh a bit horny are we?" Louis teases and Liam tsks

"No, its just I have decided that with this group the topic is bound to appear and reappear so why not just be okay with it" I shrug before opening my eyes to him. I look at Louis and he just gives me a mischievous grin, I shrug again and look at him.
