(Liam's POV)
"How are you so good at this?" I ask as I struggle to keep my arm off the table in front of us. I can't believe a girl is beating my ass at arm wrestling.
"I don't know, my nephew liked to test me so I used to arm wrestle and fight him all the time."
"Yeah, well I think I got you" I say triumphantly as her arm lowers but she uses both hands to push mine down
"I win!"
"Cheater! You didn't win you cheated!"
"Liar, Liar."
"Nu-uh! You cheated." I pout, she frowns at me before grabbing my chin. She pulls me to stand up across the table, her eyes flicker from mine to my lips quickly before she pulls me to kiss her. Her lips soft and light before pulling away quickly.
"Does that make up for it?"
"For now I guess." She smiles before letting go of my chin and I sit back down in my chair. She just smiles and sits back in her chair before crossing her arms over her chest. She lets out a heavy sigh before letting her head fall back so her neck is fully exposed to me.
"Well that was fun," I sigh "Now what should we do."
"No idea, I feel kind of awkward,"
"Me too,"
"Maybe we could go for another walk?"
"Or we could play some sort of game."
"How old are we?" I laugh
"I am gonna be eighteen."
"I have loved you since we were eighteen." I sing quietly and I watch her smile. She hums out the next chord of the song and giggles.
"Love that song" she bites her lip. I watch her chew on her lip for a few seconds before she stands from the chair. She turns around toward the wall where some of my family pictures are hanging. I watch her move across the floor as she studies each one. "Where is your dog."
"I don't have one anymore. I let him with my mum for a while then she said that he got sick so she took him to the vet and they put him down."
"You never got another one"
"No."
"Were you close with your sisters?"
"I mean I suppose we were, I know that we never really fought about anything but I think that was because I always got a lot of hard stuff going on at school."
"You don't have to say anymore than that." Being a fan she probably knows about my past, how bad it was and what I had to go through. I can talk about it, it's painful but I have the strength to talk about it.
"What about you, how was school in America."
"Well where I lived it was really weird." She starts before moving to sit down on the chair again. "Our school. . .there were so many rules there, we weren't allowed to wear spaghetti straps, we weren't allowed to have any other piercings other than our ears, we couldn't dye our hair some weird color like pink or purple, not even the tips of our hair." She sighs
"Wow"
"We couldn't have our phones, we couldn't wear our hair in weird "distracting" ways we couldn't show our shoulders."
"Jeez!" I say quietly. Honestly were these kids allowed to do anything. "did you wear uniforms"
"No we could wear our own clothes but if you wore something that seemed controversial you were sent to the office and you had to call your parents to bring a change of clothes or you got detention."
