Chapter 7 Awaken

After that day, you stayed in London for another couple of days. You hang out with your friends and visited your old school. It feels so lovely to be back at home.

You were enjoying your little time until a call from work asked you to come back to Paris for an important job. You love your job and seeing to the fact that Dan will not wake up from his unconsciousness in the near future, you decided to go back.

You texted Phil to tell him about it and he replied saying he will keep an eye on Dan for you. How kind of him!

Your journey back to Paris isn't boring at all. You watched Dan's YouTube videos, Joe's and some of Phil's. You immediately subscribed to them after the day you found out they are YouTubers.

"Good Morning!" You clicked into one of Joe's latest videos, he is topless and is in his bed looking very tired, "It's 8am and I'm going to meet my best friend today. Her name is (y/n). She is one of the best human beings I ever met. We had known each other since we were born and we're best buddies in school. She went to Paris to study after high school ends and we barely stayed in touch. Yesterday she came back for some reason and we decided to have lunch today! It's gonna be fun!

Oh and by the way, today's vlog will be pretty short as she never liked being filmed," you smiled. To be honest, you really hate cameras sticking into your face and you are glad that Joe didn't forget about it and respects you. You closed the laptop as the train slowly pulls into the station. You finally arrived to Paris.

The big project has been going on very well. Your boss really appreciate your work and all your colleagues cooperates with you. The job went smooth and positive that you helped your company profit a lot.

Your company hosted a party for you to thank you for your hard work. You didn't like parties much but you joined anyway.

During the party, there are many dancing and eating. You enjoyed the latter event. Soon you found it boring and went outside to take in some fresh air.

As soon as you got outside, you are standing in an alleyway in the back of the party. The streets are deserted and quiet, only a few people standing in a distance smoking. You felt the cool evening breeze brushed lightly on your skin. You took a deep breath, it is not fresh but not bad too.

It's been a couple of weeks since you came back from London. You barely had time to mind about Dan throughout the whole period. Now that you have some privacy, you wonder how is everything going. Has Dan woken up yet?

*ring ring*

You phone went off. You grabbed your phone from your bag and read the Caller ID, "Phil"

"Hello?" you answered immediately.

"(Y/n)!!! You got to come now!!! Dan's awake! But he is very strange and he kept asking where are you!!! You got to come now!!" Phil almost shouted and you can feel the tense from his voice.

"What happened?" You asked Phil, wanting to know more.

"It seems like Dan has got amnesia!!" Phil cried a little over the phone.

"Alright, I'll come right now. Wait for me."
