Chapter 15 Date

"Hey sweetheart, wanana go to the movies?" Dan said as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders from behind.

"You kidding me right?" You closed your laptop glancing over him.

"Well, guess who just got tickets to your favourite movie?" Dan waved two movie tickets in your face.

"Omg Dan! Really?" You turned to face Dan, he nodded. "That's awesome Dan!!" You screamed as you give him a big hug, "I love you so much!"

"I love you too." Dan kissed your cheeks.

It's been two weeks since the baseball match. You and Dan had been dating. Dating like the regular couples did. Go to the movies, shopping, gifts and flowers blah blah blah...

You had never been so happy like this since high school and now you felt free and young like before.

Today, Dan had gone outside for the whole afternoon and hasn't came back yet. You decided to spent your time to sketch. You love sketching and to be honest, you hadn't have time for it before. Today you felt inspired and sat down at the desk and drew. You drew little doodles all over your sketchbook and finally a sketch of a couple. A loving couple. Kissing.

Why did I drew that? You questioned yourself, True love doesn't exist!!! You felt angry. You tear the page off and knead it roughly into a ball before throwing it into the trash can. You buried your face in your palms. What a mess did I got myself into?

You glanced over to your bedside table. Your diary. You went over and picked it up. You started to flip the pages. After the baseball match, you two almost did exactly what the diary wrote. You stopped at the page marked today's date.

Dear diary,

Today was a boring day at school. Lessons are boring like always and all the teachers are assholes. I hate school.

Anyway, the grumpy mood in the morning had a 360 degree turn in the afternoon! Guess what? Dan asked me out for dinner!!!!!!!! MY BOYFRIEND XXXXXxxx

Well, boyfriends take their girlfriends out for dinner is a normal thing for everyone. BUT NOT ME!!!! Because DAN HOWELL is my boyfriend!!!! SQUEAK!!!!! >v< Omg I love that idiot! He is everything to me.

Luckily my parents are out too, or else they will forbid me to go. I'm so excited right now!!! OMG!!! What should I wear???

You heard the front door closed follow by the jingling of keys. Dan is back. You closed your diary and put it away.

"Y/n my beautiful girlfriend!!" Dan jumped from behind you. You turned around to look at him.

"Welcome home," you smiled at him.

"So... I was wondering... if ...um... you could... um... go on a dinner date with me?" Dan looked at you in your eyes. Your mouth is opened but no sound was made. You looked at him. Examine him to every little detail of his face like this is the last time you would ever see him again. How can someone hold back their feelings to this beautiful creature in front of you? You love this boy. You are absolutely madly in love with him.

"Y/n?" Dan tilt his head looking at you.

You decided. You decided to give the boy who once destroyed your heart a chance. Although you know how this would end, you still want to feel the love again. For that moment, your feeling of love just unlocked from deep inside your heart. The ice melts. You felt warmth and comfort. A little spark escaped your eyes. Something inside you lit up.

"Yes, of course I'll go on a date with you!" You swing your arms around Dan and kissed him on the cheek.

Time skip to Dinner date

"Please, my lovely lady," Dan pulls out your chair for you.

"Thank you Dan," you carefully sat down not wanting to destroy your dress.

You and Dan ordered food and wine. Both of you had a good evening talking about your families, your interests, your dreams...

"What do you want to do after high school?" Dan asked leaning against the table.

"I... Uh..." You sipped a little wine. "Probably go to uni. And you?"

"I don't know..." Dan looked down at the table. By now, the food is finished. So he's staring down an empty plate.

"You should do drama, you love acting," you encouraged him, "that's your dream right?"

"I'm not sure, what's your dream then?"

"I..." You thought about the work you're doing, you thought about your dreams, your dream job. Is your present job really your dream job? You mean, you love the job but does that make it your dream job? You then remembered, your dream. Your dream job from high school...

"Artist." The word slipped through your mouth. You didn't noticed it before you say it out loud.

"Artist? Of course, you can draw so well..." Dan took a little sip of the wine. "You're talented. You can draw. But what am I?"

The conversation didn't last long and soon fell into a silence.

"How about let's get the dessert and go? It's getting pretty late now," you suggested, breaking the silence. Dan agreed.

The dessert came. You and Dan ate in silence. From time to time, you and Dan looked at each other. You blushed everytime he caught you. You felt your face very warm and a little light headed.

After what seems like forever, Dan paid the bill and you decided to leave. You started to stand up but your legs failed miserably. You almost hit the ground when Dan rushed over to your side and hold you tight in your waist. Saved.

You are shocked. Dan looked you into your eyes. You looked back. How many times you've told yourself that he has the most beautiful face ever? Those brownish eyeballs, the red and moist lips of his makes you want him more. He is sexy, you thought.

Dan pulled you closer into his chest, you felt his heat-beat's picking up speed. He leaned in, slowly closing the small gap between you both. You too leaned forward to reach Dan, slowly closing your eyes.

You felt it. Dan's lips are gently placed onto yours. The fire in your heart that was lit just erupted like a volcano. Those lips, are wet and moist, yet warm and welcoming. Your eyes are still shut tightly, you felt your heart beats faster than ever. You slowly moved your lips as he moved his moulding them together with yours. His tongue moves around your lower lip asking for entrance. You let him in as you did the same.

The kiss was long and loving. It is not rushing or hard. It's soft and slow. You enjoyed it so much you didn't want to pull away. Soon, he did. You opened your eyes to find his are already locked with yours. He smiled. You replied him with one. He slowly helped you stand and pecked a little on your lips before leading you to leave the restaurant. Obviously he didn't want to stop the kiss too.

Since you didn't have your car, you both decided to walk home. Throughout the walk, you two chatted a bit but most of the time was silence. It's not awkward. It's lovely. The streets are desert and when you think back to the kiss. A smile spreads across your red cheeks.
