Chapter 21 Preparation

You are sitting in corner of a cafe, listening to the soft music playing in the speaker. Everyone in here are enjoying themselves, friends gathering, couples sharing their drinks....

"Heyy!! Y/n!!!" You were pulled out of your thoughts when you heard your name being called. You looked up, a girl is smiling and walking towards where you sat.

"Hi, Julia!" You say as you stood up and gave her a hug.

"You haven't changed much, girl," she pulled back examining you from head to toe.

"You too," you say. Julia had been your best friend forever since preparatory school. She is that kind of energetic and popular girl. Even though, she is very kind and generous. She had so many friends that you couldn't even count! Julia isn't very tall, yet very cute and cuddly. Many boys in your school had crushes on her.

"So," she started as both of you sat down, "according to what you said on phone, your boyfriend, Dan has amnesia and thought he was still in high school?" You blushed at the word, boyfriend. "Correct," you said.

She continued, "So, you wanted to recreate prom so that he could perhaps remember something? Or maybe even recover?" She paused. You nodded. Julia leaned back, deep in thought, "but, what if... what if he couldn't remember from this event? It would be a waste, would it?"

You paused for a while, thinking about what she said. "You know what? Let's just recreate prom!! Make it like a high school gathering! No matter this would help Dan or not, I still really miss all those idiots." Julia said excitingly, "Oh we should book a bar for this and maybe  invite everyone from high school!! That'll be fun!! Awe I'm so excited right now!" She continued to tell you her plan and who she would invite while you simply nod your head to her and smiling.

You came out of the changing room for the hundredth time wearing the best gown you've found in the shop. You carefully walked to where your friends are sitting. "How do I look?"

"You look amazing!!!" Julia exclaimed.

"Beautiful as a butterfly," Joe gave you a thumbs up.

You turned to Dan who has been staring at you the whole time. "What do you think?" You asked.

"You're... you're... perfect," Dan blushed as he says. You smiled to that compliment, "thanks."

(A/N: Here's a few I found pretty... you don't have to stick with these if you don't like it)

It's settled. Julia have contacted all your high school friends and invited them for this reunion. After that day in the coffee shop, you quickly booked a bar for the party and had ordered food for that night. Everything is ready, except for the perfect dress. Joe and Julia came to help you choose while picking up their own too. Julia had chosen a pink gown, which is her favourite colour. And now, you have it. You know this is your perfect outfit. This is so perfect it's like it was made for you.

You turned to the shop assistant ready to check out with this dress, you feel the most confident in. "Cash or credit card?" The assistant asked.

"Credit card!" Before you could answer, Dan walked up to the assistant and handing her his card. The assistant smiled and took Dan's card.

"Dan!" You turned to him, almost complaining, "you don't have to do this, I could have paid... "

"Is it wrong to buy my gorgeous girlfriend her perfect prom gown?" He give your nose a little tap. "Thanks Dan," you give him a hug. You're so grateful to have such a cute and loving boyfriend. How you wish he could be by your side forever!

After you got your gown, Dan went to find a suit. You sat down next to Julia and Joe who were sitting on the sofa.

"When do you think he will recover?" Joe poked his head out to me asking, Julia turned to me also expecting an answer.

You sighed, "I have no idea."

"But if he continues to be like this, it's not gonna work. We can never hide the truth from him, one day, he will know." Julia suggests.

"Yea," Joe agreed, "besides, it is not only affecting Dan's life. Dan's family is very worried about him and Phil is so worried that he was sick the last few days. Poor Phil, he cannot do anything to help his best friend... and not to mention Dan's fans..."

Joe stopped talking as Dan came out of the changing room. He wears a black suit with a black bow tie around his white shirt's collar. With matching black shoes and pants, he is literally wearing all black except for his bright clean shirt.

(A/N: just imagine it)

"So?" Dan posed for you which made you chuckled a bit. "Nice suit," you complimented.

Okay, now everything is done. Counting down a week to "prom"~

So... as Dan and Phil's gamingmas is about to end... Our chaptermas (wth even is this lol, idk) has just started!!! Yay!

Hopefully I could manage to post a chapter a day and not die...
