Hayley's p.o.v:
"We have a new student with us today" The teacher I believe to be Mr Sammy said loudly over the noisy classroom. I twiddled my thumbs under the table nervously. "Hayley Bailey please stand up and tell us about yourself" The teacher said. I looked up slightly wide eyed to the teacher begging him to take it back, but he didn't. I slowly got up and said "Hi my name's Hayley... I just moved here from England... I like sport... that's about it...". Wolf whistles sounded as I sat back down blushing slightly. "Hi" I heard someone whisper in my ear. I turned to look at the boy sitting next to me smiling shyly and I said "Hi" back.
"My names Spencer" The boy whispered in my ear again. "Hayley...as you probably heard" I said back biting my lip nervously looking at Spencers beautiful hazel brown eyes mesmerising me. I noticed the teacher hadn't started yet and asked "Why hasn't the teacher started yet?" confused. He chuckled and said "Mr Sammy in the first week doesn't teach, but let's us settle down after the Christmas holidays". I nodded with a grin happy not to be doing that much work on my first day.
The bell rang sooner than I thought after occasional chit chat with Spencer about England, but not why I had to leave. "What lesson do you have next?" Spencer's deep voice asked. I fummbled with the folded piece of paper with my time table on and said "Double sport" happily. I saw his smile grow as he said "Same! How about I show you there". I smirked and said "Race ya" bursting into a sprint down the hallway glad to be wearing my new black knee high converses.
