How his lips felt against hers. The way a single touch from him sent shivers down her spine. How her name sounded coming out of his mouth. The way he was so gentle with her but knew when to be rough. How he wanted all of her, the good and the bad. The way a single look from him could make her weak at the knees. How he knew just how to make their bodies connect. The way he read her mind in the dead of night when she was left alone with her thoughts. How a single thought of him could leave her speechless for hours.

'Adele... Adele... Adele!' Simon yelled at her from across the table. 'Yeah. What?' She said confused. 'What is wrong with you? Are you okay?' He asked. 'Umm yeah. Just daydreaming I guess.' She quickly said as she gathered herself together. One thing about this pregnancy was the hormones. She thought they were bad in the beginning but now at nine months pregnant they were way too intense. All she ever wanted to do was jump on top of Simon no matter when. At first he liked it but now not so much. In his defence though it creeped him out how big the baby was and didn't want it to feel anything. Happy wife, happy life though, right?

Georgie was adjusting very well with the coming of the baby and changing schools. It had been about five months since the permanent move and both Adele and Simon had noticed an immense change in her. They kept her involved in everything from shopping for the baby to decorating the nursery. They wanted her to feel apart of the whole change and their biggest fear was that she would feel left out but that defiantly wasn't the case. Every morning at breakfast she asked if it was baby time yet and every day after school she asked if the baby was home. 'I can't wait to be a big sister! And Louie is going to be a big brother!' She would say. They loved how excited she was and hoped that when the baby did arrive she would feel the same way. 'I can't wait to teach the baby to read and watch tv and show her the really good candy.' Georgie said while Simon was getting her ready for bed. 'So you think it's a girl, then?' He asked her. 'Oh yes, daddy! I need a sister.' She said in a very determined voice. 'Well I guess we'll find out soon won't we.' He responded kissing the top of her head. 'Sweet dream, baby belle.'

As the due date quickly approached Adele grew more and more nervous. 'Simon? Are you awake?' She asked as she starred at the ceiling. 'What's on your mind, babe?' He said rolling over to face her. 'I'm scared.' She quietly said, almost as if she was ashamed of her own feelings. 'Of what?' He responded while rubbing her stomach. 'Everything. It's just really overwhelming. And you've already dealt with this before so you probably don't care.' Simon could see tears faintly rolling down her cheeks. He propped himself up on his arm and picked up Adele's hand and kissed it. 'Adele. You're the one I want to experience this with. Seeing Georgie being born changed my life but it won't be the same as seeing this kid's birth because you're the love of my life, my partner, my best friend and before it wasn't like that. Look at this incredible life we've built together in only a year. Do you know how thrilled I am to watch you be a mother to our children and to see our relationship grow and get better and better. I wouldn't trade my life with you for anything. You, Georgie, this little baby and our dogs are what I live for everyday. We got this, we're the perfect team.' He leaned in to give her a kiss. 'You're the best part of me, Adele.' He said as she moved to rest her head on his chest. The rhythm of his heartbeat soothed her to sleep as she was wrapped in Simon's arms.

Adele loved how no matter Simon could make her feel like she was on top of the world. She knew she was dramatic and it took a strong man to deal with her and she knew she found that in Simon. He treated her like she deserved and everything they had to get through they did it as a team. He encouraged her dreams, supported her projects, cried with her in her failures, laughed with her during the hard times and loved her unconditionally. Finally she found her prince and she was going to do everything to make sure this was a forever relationship.

'Mum? Where are you? I have a surprise.' Georgie yelled throughout the house looking for Adele. 'In the living room.' She called back. 'Look what I made for you! It's green flowers and me and you holding hands.' She handed the picture to her mum. 'Do you like it?' She anxiously asked. 'It's beautiful. Thank you, my darling.' Adele held open her arms to give Georgie a hug. 'Will you go out it on the refrigerator for me?' Adele asked her. Georgie ran off and suddenly Adele felt something different in her stomach. A sharp pain and then quickly another one. She sat on the couch in shock because she didn't know what to do. She waited to see if it happened again and then more came. Within five minutes the pain got stronger and quicker together. She reached for her phone to call Simon, who was on the other side of the house in his office. 'Hello.' He answered. 'It's time Simon.'
