Suddenly Adele wasn't so nervous anymore, in fact she felt a sense of calmness rush over her. While Simon was busy getting their bags together and calling the doctor, she started to dial Laura's number. 'Hey, donut! How are you doing?' Laura said when she answered. 'It's baby time!' Adele screamed into the phone. 'Holy Shit! Finally.' Laura happily replied. 'Can you come over and watch Georgie for us?' Adele asked. 'Be there in 10.' She hastily responded. All through the house Georgie and Simon ran around yelling, 'Baby time! Baby time!' over and over. Adele thought it was cute but her contractions were getting stronger and more painful by the second so all she wanted was for this baby to get out of her. 'Okay sweetie, Laura is here to play with you till baby comes and then you can come see us.' Simon told Georgie as he knelt down to kiss her. 'Bye daddy, bye mummy.' Georgie waved from the kitchen table where she was pulling out her colours.

The drive to the hospital felt like it took years and years and the closer they got the more pain Adele was in. 'I don't think I can't handle this, Simon. It fucking hurts.' She told him trying to breathe through the pain. 'You're doing great baby. It'll be so worth it when we get to meet our little baby.' He reassured her while he squeezed her hand. 'Perfect team remember.' Adele knew Simon was right but the idea of having to push out a baby really terrified her. 'Perfect team.' She repeated. When they arrived to the hospital they were immediately taken back into their room where the nurses started hooking Adele and the baby up to monitors. 'You're moving along quite fast.' One nurse told her. 'Baby should be here within the hour.' She said as she left the room to go get the doctor. 'Within the hour Simon! That's too soon! I'm not ready.' Simon walked over to Adele and wrapped his arms around her. 'Me and you, baby. me and you.' He told her before kissing the top of her head and returning to his seat. The doctor came in just as he sat down and immediately checked Adele. 'Yep I give it an hour and that baby will pop out.' The doctor said as he pushed his stool back from the bed. 'You're life is about to be forever changed.' He said before walking out. I looked at Simon and instantly started crying and I wasn't quite sure why. It was probably the feeling of being overwhelmed along with the pain medicine but everything seemed to be too much to handle. 'Babe? What's wrong?' He asked as he sat down on the bed next to me. 'I don't know if I can handle this Simon.' I told him as I tried to catch my breath. He brushed my hair behind my ear and softly kissed my lips as he wiped my tears. 'Adele. You're the strongest person I know and in a short time you'll be brining our child into the world. If anyone can handle it, it's you.' A smile covered my face as I gripped his hand. 'You have no idea how much I love you.' I told him.

After an hour of being checked constantly by nurses it was finally time to push. With my mum and Simon by my side I started the process and had never felt so powerful in my life. The whole time, an hour to be exact of pushing, I pictured the four of us playing in the garden or opening presents on Christmas and kept that as my motivation to keep going. 'One last push, Adele and you'll have your self a baby.' The doctor said as he prepared for its arrival. A final push and the high pitched cry of this tiny baby filled the room. 'IT'S A BOY!' The doctor said holding up the baby. Simon gave me a kiss before cutting the cord and placing the baby on my chest. 'You did it baby girl. You did it!' My mum said placing a kiss on my forehead. 'A boy...' I whispered looking at Simon. In that exact moment seeing him look at his son for the first time I didn't think I could love him anymore than I did. And then there was this little tiny baby. I loved Simon and I loved Georgie but the love I felt for my son was on a completely different level than anything I had ever experienced before. I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

After things settled down we face timed Laura and Georgie to show them the baby. 'ITS A BOY!' We both yelled when they answered. Georgie's eyes got real big and she jumped up and down on the couch. 'I knew it!' She screamed. 'I think we're going to wait and let Georgie meet the baby tomorrow when we come home.' Simon told Laura. 'Okay, no problem. I'll be glad to stay with her tonight.' She replied before hanging up. As we both looked at our son, I couldn't help but starting crying because now our family was complete.

In the morning we waited for the doctor to give the okay for us to leave the hospital and then we headed home. 'I'm really nervous.' I told Simon while he was driving. 'Why?' He replied giving me a questioning look. 'We're all alone with him now...' I said looking at the baby fast asleep in his car seat. 'I'm just a little scared.' I whispered. We pulled into the driveway and were greeted by balloons and flowers from Georgie and Laura. 'Daddy! Mummy! We got you presents.' Georgie said running up to us. 'Lets go inside so you can meet your brother.' Simon told her as he got the car seat out of the car. Once we were all inside we went into the living room to all sit down. 'Congratulations my beautiful donut.' Laura said giving me hug. 'Thanks! I can't believe this is my life now.' I told her sitting on the couch. 'All she's talked about is meeting him. She's so excited.' Laura said as we both watched Georgie with Simon and the baby. 'What's his name daddy?' She asked him. 'Simon and I looked at each other and then I nodded for him to tell her. 'Georgie, meet your little brother Angelo.'
