•Emily's POV•

So after Luke completely ruined the mood yesterday we decided to just end the date, and you know what I did when Mason left I called Luke but it was a pretty short conversation.

(Flashback)

"Ugh pick up pick up pick up" I say as I wait for Luke to answer his phone.

"Hey Emily what is it?" He says in a innocent voice.

Now I'm sure he did that on purpose.

"Why did you decide that it would be ok to "accidentally" text me when I was about to kiss a cute guy" I say obviously angry.

"Cute? Are you serious? he was a solid 2 out of 10, you could do so much better, I was doing you a favour" he says dragging out the so.

"No Luke I am not sure I can, and a favour?! No Luke no you weren't" now he is really pushing it.

"Anyways I gotta go bye sweetheart" he says in a fake sweet voice.

"Luke, don't you hang up on-" I was cut off by a beeping sound.

I wish I could get a little more mad at him I just can't bring myself to it he is just too annoyingly cute sometimes. Wait no no no Emily shut up he is just ugghhh I face palm.

So yeah I think I'm gonna go home today because I miss my bed and if my dads there I have 911 on speedial.

"Bye Laura" I hop out of the car and walk to my doorstep all my stuff in my hands.

"Bye, be safe" Laura says pulling out of the driveway.

I get my keys and open the door to see my mom on the couch crying.

She looks up at me runs to me and hugs me"I'm so glad you are ok".

"Why wouldn't I be?" I say hugging her back.

"Well, when I came home from the trip your father was here he threatened to take you away from me and slapped me twice threw beer bottles at me and almost choked me to death so I called the police he is now serving 8 months in jail" she said slowly starting to cry I gave her a big squeeze.

"it'll Be ok now go watch some young and the restless in bed I will make you dinner oh and have you seen Connor?" I question as I let go of her.

She nodded "oh he came home like 3 hours ago he said he was staying with his friends for a couple days and that he was worried sick about you" she said as she was getting up ready to run to her room.

"That's great to hear thanks now go relax" I say as I point upstairs she quickly runs up the stairs.

As I start to finish making the pasta sauce for the pasta I'm making, All of the sudden I hear a knock at the door I peek out the side window to see its Luke puzzled I open the door.

"Hi Luke um what are you doing here?" I ask confused.

"I heard your dad got thrown in jail because your mom got beaten by him so I brought flowers" he says holding them out.

It suddenly started raining "I would take the flowers and send you back out into the rain but eh I'm feeling extra nice today come on in" I say smiling as he walks in.
