Hayden's Point Of View
"Hayden stop it." She said sternly, letting out a nervous chuckle.
I was in no mood to play, nor did I want to. I wouldn't let her fool me again with her sweet voice, not this time.
"Get in the car." I told her as she shook her head, like I expected, so I pushed her slightly back, careful to not push her too much, since I didn't want her hurt.
I then walked over to the baby, that was sitting in his stroller, quite satisfied with his silencer in his mouth. I picked him up, trying to remember how I saw people hold a baby, but I had no success as he started to cry, Leah flinching.
"Please, Hayden don't hurt him." She whimpered, afraid of speaking louder.
"Get in the car." I said and she obeyed with no other word as she walked to the front of the van.
"No, you get into back." I said as she hesitated, wanting to say something back. She walked around the car, as I carried the baby under it's butt with my arm. It was still bawling its eyes out, but I tried my best to ignore it.
She climbed the dark delivering place of the van sitting down and opening her arms, wanting me to give her the baby, but I refused.
The baby could get too much hurt if it was in the back with her, she'd not be able to hold herself and the baby and I didn't want to hurt her.
"He's driving with me."
"NO! Hayden please, give me him." She pleaded as I shook my head and closed the door, leaving her screaming inside.
I tried my best to ignore her pleading screams, knowing that I was not hurting her. I put the baby into the baby chair that I had bought and put him his belt on. As I looked at it, it wouldn't stop crying, his face bloodshot, just like his eyes.
What the hell was I going to do now? I looked around, trying to find something to make him stop as my eyes landed on his silencer.
Of course, babies always have them in their mouth.
I pushed into his mouth and he started to calm down, much to my relief. Opening the car door to my side, I looked back at him and listened to Leah, who seemed to have stopped screaming. He was looking me with big eyes.
"What?" I asked him as he just kept looking at me more than awkward.
I just awkwardly turned around, starting the engine.
Why did he look at me like that? Does he know something? Does he want money? Maybe he is hungry, maybe I should give him sweets? Nonsense, babies should eat mashed healthy things. But if he isn't hungry, he could be sad that his mummy wasn't here, nonsense it's a kid. What if he's sick? He looks like he has fever.
"Dude." I reminded myself,"it's just a damn kid."
I continued to drive down the road, until I reached my new bought house, it wasn't a mansion, but it was comfortable and the most important, it was connected to the cave.
As I turned the engine off, I looked at him again and he was sound asleep, seeming to be comfortable with that weird chair. I walked around and towards him to pick him up, as careful as I could, not wanting to wake him.
I walked inside and placed him on my bed, covering him with a blanket before I went back down to get Leah.
As I opened the door Leah flinched, hiding her face behind her tiny hands.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Leah." She should know that by now.
She nodded as I put my hand around her waist just lightly, knowing, that she wouldn't run off without her child.
"Where's Jaymi?" She whispered, not even gazing at me once.
"He's inside, c'mon now."
She nodded silently as she entered the house with me, I guided her to her room, as I peeled my eyes down her frame. She looked drop dead gorgeous, it made me want to do so many things to her.
As I softly pushed her into the room she looked curiously around.
"Hayden, where is he?" She asked as she faced me.
"In my room."
"Let me see him."
"No."
"Hayden!" She raised her voice, trying to push past me, but I held her, blocking her way.
"Let me see my son." She said and started to wriggle.
"Listen to me. I fucking said no, now stay in that room and I'll bring you your son when I feel like it."
"Hayden what the fuck are you trying to do?!" She exclaimed.
"M'gonna make you love me again." I said as she exploded: "HOW THE FUCK WILL THAT MAKE ME LOVE YOU AGAIN?"
"Shut up, I know what I'm doing." I hissed, closing the door.
"Hayden!" She yelled as I locked the door.
No response.
"Hayden! Please!"
No response.
"Hayden!"
No response.
"Hayden.." She whispered, I could hear a soft sob, which made me want to throw the whole plan into the water, but I couldn't, not just yet, not until she loved me again.
