Leah's Point Of View

I tried to make up my mind as we drove to the mall where they would possibly be. I never thought he could possibly hurt Jaymi, but ever since he blew up on me, I was not sure about anything anymore. He was not a bad person, I knew that, he was just lost and confused and adding up to that he never let me finish my sentences and tell him the truth, so he thought I left him when I really didn't. He thought that Jaymi was Zahir's kid and that we betrayed him, which was certainly not the case.

I would lie if I would say that I wasn't scared, because I was, I could not imagine what he could do in such a vulnerable state. As much as I hated to admit, I could imagine him hurting Jaymi or to give Jaymi to someone else, just because he is the kind of person who would push their problems away.

"Miss, we're going in now, we highly recommend you to stay in this car." The officer told me. I shook my head.

"No, I want to see them first. " I told him.

"The kidnapper is violent. A killer, miss, it's not safe for someone without any experience to go anywhere near him." The guy told me.

"He is not a kidnapper, he is just confused and I forbid you to treat him like a criminal." I huffed, getting out of the car and stomping into the direction of the mall.

"Miss!" He yelled, following me.

I ignored him as I followed the police officers with the guns who were walking into their direction, which was a men's bathroom.

"Clear, no one but them entered the bathroom." One said, pointing his gun towards the door ready to shoot. People were already becoming nosy as they looked at what was happening.

"What are you doing?"I almost shouted as they started to point their guns to the bathroom's door.

"Miss, this is a murderer, he kidnapped a chi-" He started but I cut him off, furiously.

"I know who he is, He is not a kidnapper for the tenth time, that is his son. I forbid you to shoot!" I hissed, walking towards the bathroom.

"Miss! We don't take orders from you, please someone escort her out!" He yelled at his colleagues.

"No! Fuck I know what I'm doing!" I shrugged the black haired man's grip off.

"Miss I-"

"No, let me do this, if he kills me you can do what ever the hell you want, but I'm going in there now." I said angrily.

"You can't go in there he will k-"

"Bullshit, he won't touch a hair of mine. He never has!" I defended him.

"He was in jail he has changed, miss, he is not the same!" The guy behind the defences they built up yelled.

I shook my head, not letting them hold me back any longer as I walked towards the bathroom, opening the door and vanishing inside. As soon as I entered it the smell of urinals entered my nose.

"Would you stop moving little pisser, I don't know how to do this shit!" I heard a very familiar voice exclaim. I took a deep breath as I turned around the corner, expecting everything, but not what I saw. Hayden was trying to change Jaymi's diapers, but obviously he was failing badly. I watched in awe as Hayden tried to get him to stop struggling and as Jaymi started crying, His facial expression changed into a shocked one.

"Oh shit- I.. little pisser did I break you something? I - fuck, what's happaning?" He panicked. I snickered, which made him look into my direction. He immediately forgot what he was doing.

"Leah.." He gasped.
