The Lightning To My Icy Storm ( Spark X Blanche)

The truth hurts.

Blanche's POV:

After the trainer had left, I went back to my room, wondering if Team Valor knew about this.

The trainer's words kept repeating on my head, filling me with anger and exhaustion. Having the thought of that others know my situation with one of the Team leaders is exhausting.

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud knock on the door, which I knew it was not a friendly one.

FLASHBACK: 5 MONTHS AGO.

"As my new assistant, you need to consider this is a very intricate task." I said to Dae, walking beside me.

"I know, Ma'am. I-I think I am capable of this" She stood there, looking at the papers she had been given.

"Dae, you sure you can do this?

"I'm sure, Blanche. I'll be fine, you know I just do not like paperwork that much"

I knew that from a while ago. Dae and I were friends since we were six, and it was always hard to keep secrets from eachother.

We kept walking on the busy but silent halls, looking and bumping into trainers with questions. This was the usual, as I was obviously the leader, and Dae was one of the best trainers Team Mystic had.

Suddenly, the silence turned into chaos, and we saw trainers, flashing by and then stopping, asking about what was the chaos about. I lost Dae in the middle of the stampede, and I stopped myself in the middle.

"Can anyone tell me what is going on, RIGHT NOW?!"

Everyone stopped. You could still hear some chatting, but I noticed something. There were yellow and blue jackets in the crowd.

"I'll tell you what's going on"  I heard a familiar voice.

It was Spark, angrier than ever. To get him angry, you needed a high level of annoyance mixed with stupidity to do so, otherwise you would get more annoyed yourself.

"Seems like your team has been messing with some of my trainers"

I looked around, clueless about these events.

"I was never alerted about this situation. If you could politely meet me in my office to deal with this-"

I was rudely interrupted.

"Let's do so. Take an eye on your team too, will ya?"

I saw Dae in the crowd, searching around the room, trying to distract herself from the situation.

"Follow me. Team Mystic, you are all dismissed. Team Instinct, you shall wait in the lobby"

Spark looked at me with his face still filled with anger.

"Now" I repeated.

I started walking, while the crowd slowly faded, and everything became silence again. Spark started explaining everything when we got to the office, and I couldn't be more ashamed of some trainers of my team.

"I shall take action against this behaviour immediately" I slowly stood up, reaching for the new research files that had been delivered.

"Don't even think about it" He grabbed my arm, stopping me from grabbing more papers.

"There's also another situation that you might want to listen and take your role in"

He said,looking at me directly

I sat down again.

"And that is?"

He brushed some hair off his face, took a deep breath and he started explaining.

"You know that trainers can't have relationships with a trainer of a different team, right?"

"Yes, and that has consequences. Obviously."

"Well, it is happening. Between two members of our teams"

I opened my eyes, and started thinking about any possible candidates that maybe committed this. It was a big problem doing this, since some Team members really denied on the chance of a affliliation.

"Here's the complicated part; I have been helping them"

"You know it is against-"

"I think it is beyond stupid that rules decide who do you love, Blanche"

"But-"

"That's why I came, too"

"..."

"I need your help to continue with this. They really love eachother"

"That would be breaking the rules, Spark"

"Wouldn't you do that for your best friend?"

"What do you mean?"

"Talking about Dae"

I dropped my papers flat on the desk, and started thinking. The last person I thought that would break the rules; Dae.

"I know we hate eachother, Blanche. But we should just team up for this little task. After all, it's for her"

"....I'll think about it"

I dismissed Spark, and I stayed in my seat. I could not think straight anymore.

I just needed a break.
