Chapter 3

Sakura

I broke eye contact and quickly closed the curtain to my window.

"Hina, what did we just do....!?"

Hinata's lavender eyes widened and she was shaking. Shaking from fear.

All of a sudden, a sudden stomping came from the stairs and Sakura's mother opened the door (without knocking).

"Alright. As much as I'm happy that you have friends, Sakura, I'm afraid Hinata has to leave. Tomorrow's school, remember?" She blurted.

"Oh right!" Hinata suddenly jumped up. "Thank you Mrs. Haruno. Stay safe, Sakura-Chan,"

With that, she left my house, leaving me with my unanswered thoughts and homework I still had to complete.

"Good night, Sakura," My mother slammed the door shut.

Can't she do anything without full force?

I hopped onto my bed and searched for my half-done essay for literature.

I guess we'll continue our conversation tomorrow..

I was running. I had to, I just couldn't stop my feet, but what was I running away from?

"You two honestly can't go a day without each other," A familiar, wise voice chuckled.

No..No! It can't be him! He's..he's dead!

"Where are you...WHO ARE YOU?" I screamed.

At that moment, a voice broke the setting.

"I am your mother and I'm trying to wake you up, sleepy head!"

A screeching voice suddenly woke me up. Mother?

"Wha..?"

"I should really have you pay rent, but I let you stay for free. Be grateful,"

"Huh? Oh..of course!"

"THEN GET READY FOR SCHOOL!"

"School...school..." That's when it hit me. "SCHOOL!"

It her rolled her eyes and got out of my room while I jumped up to stash my scattered homework into my bag.

After brushing my teeth, I adjusted a hot pink headband onto my combed hair, I put on my skinny jeans and my red sweatshirt that said: Konoha Frogs. (A/N XD DONT JUDGE) When I check to see if my necklace was still in place (it was), I glanced at the clock to see it was 7:51 AM.

"MA! I don't think I'm gonna make it,"

"Then eat!" She yelled back. Did she not hear me or something?

I glared at my mother as I shoved a piece of toast into my mouth and hurried out the front door.

As I was running to school, I glanced at the black house next door. All the lights were out.

Where were they?

Sasuke

"Revenge, dattebayo!" A sudden pillow slammed into my face which woke me up.

"Oi baka! Shut it! It's only morning," I replied.

"RIGHT. So you thought it was right to ruin my sleep yesterday?"

"Hn,"

"Beh! Your no fun!" Naruto yelled after me as I walked over to the kitchen.

After assembling a breakfast, Naruto munched down and stared at me while doing so.
