All I want to do is talk to you. We saw each other a few weeks ago, and you told me about how much you missed talking to me and being my best friend. I miss you too, more than you'll ever understand. We talk a lot now, more than we should, I'll admit. I try to limit myself, but every time anything happens, you're the one I want to share it with.
I know you miss me. It's just hard to tell myself that it's just as a friend, to decipher the depth of your love. You want to be my best friend. You want to text me. You want to be there for me. Yet you still flirt, and you're still attracted to me. So kill me for subconsciously mistaking that for love. I can't help but fall into the same trap as before, the trap of pining after you, of hoping maybe you'll come back to me, maybe you'll love me again. It's hard when you've spent two years trying to convince me of how much you love me just for me to have to understand that you don't anymore. Why don't you anymore?
