We raid the dessert table and drink all the fake wine. Taya's mum said she didn't want us getting drunk but apparently Cameron snuck some beer into the fridge so skyla, taya, Shawn and Cameron and I all grab one. The guys head to the lounge room and us girls go outside to the bonfire. There is like 100 kids from school here and no adults. Lol.
Us girls and another group of kids who I've never really talked to that much sit around the fire. I take a sip off my beer and when I bring it down. I see Daniel in the crowd. He sees me too so he stops and waves. I'm frozen just staring at him. I hate him. Ugh why do I have to see him?! The next thing I know I've fallen backwards on my chair and down the retaining wall which is like one and a half meters high. Taya and skyla look over the edge at me and crack up laughing. My head hurts like crazy and I feel really dizzy.
I try to get up and I fail the first time but eventually I sit up and put a hand to my throbbing head. It hurts so bad. Skyla and Taya are still laughing. I can't stand up because my head hurts so much. Then I see Daniel walking towards me and I immediately stand up and back off.
"I don't want to see you. Go away!" I say walking the opposite way to him.
"Amber. Please?" I hear him still follow me. By now Skyla and Taya have stoped laughing and they are now listening. I give them a glare and they walk off. I turn around.
"What do you want Daniel?!" I say with frustration in my voice.
"I want to talk with you. What I did was wrong and I'm so sorry. I miss you so much and I need you. please come back?" He says quickly.
"After what you did to me? I don't think so Daniel. Nice seeing you!" I say sarcastically. I turn around and walk off. Then he grabs my wrist.
"Amber. I love you." He whispers. I look into his soft brown eyes. They haven't changed.
"Daniel." I reply. "I used to love you." I pull my wrist from his grip and storm off. How could taya invite him and invite me when she knows I hate him.
I grab another beer and walk through the house toward the front door when taya stops me. "Where are you going?!" She yells over the music.
"Anywhere but here" I say trying to push past her. She doesn't let me.
"Why?"
"Why do you think Taya?! You knew I hated Daniel yet you invited him!?"
"He still loves you." She replies. I clench my fist and push past her and out the door. I walk down the street, just walking. Not knowing where I'm going. I get to a bridge where once Daniel and I locked a lock on the railings. I use my phone light to find our one and I hold it in my hands and start crying.
After tonight, I never realised how much I missed him. I try to break the lock off but it doesn't work so I just sit on the foot path crying. Then I hear footsteps. I look to my right to see a few figures in the dark. I shine my phone light at them and I see Taya, Skyla, Shawn, Cameron and. Daniel.
"What do you want?!" I say sternly.
"To give Daniel another chance." Skyla says.
"He tried to commit suicide because he missed you so much!" Shawn yells. Wait. Really!? That touches me and I slowly stand up. My head still hurting.
"How's your head?" Cameron asks.
"How did you know about that?!" I say still with a stern voice. He shows me his phone on face book and there's a video of me falling off my chair and off the retaining wall. I actually passed out for a second when I hit the ground.
"It's gone viral" taya says. I tighten my jaw. I look over Taya's shoulder at Daniel. He looks at the ground with his hands in his pockets.
I secretly miss him so much. I remember what he did when we had our first kiss and I run up to him and wrap my arms around him. He seems shocked for a while but then he hugs me really tight back. I hear the others "aww" but I ignore them. I realise how much I missed Daniels hugs. He doesn't let go. I don't let go.
"I love you" I whisper into his top. He hugs me tighter.
Daniel's POV
At party
I sit in the living room watching the front door through the gap of people. Taya said Amber was coming. I really wanted to see her. Just once. I love her. She hates me. Such a coincidence. I need to see her. Then I see her walk into the room with Natalie and Chloe. Taya greets them all but I stay on the couch. If Amber sees me she will flip.
When I heard she had moved away because of me I ran to the nearest bridge and tried to jump off but a random guy who was running nearby stoped me. I don't know if I'm glad or not, yet. Amber talks to Taya with her beautiful smile. She laughs but I can't hear her voice over the loud playlist I put together for the party.
The girls run off and I sit talking to Trent and Nathan.
"So. You still like Chloe, Trent?" Nathan asks. Ugh. Again with the girls.
"What the heck?" Trent replies laughing.cameron and Shawn walk over and we start talking too. After a while I deside I'm going to go find Amber. I can't take this no more. I stand up and walk around the house. She's not inside so she must be outside.
I walk past a bunch of people through the sliding door and my eyes lock with Ambers. She looks mad. Like really mad. She just stares at me, I miss her so much. The next thing I know she has fallen off her chair. Skyla and Taya crack up laughing but I don't see her get up so I jog over to see if she is ok.
As soon as she sees me she stands up and starts walking away.
"I don't want to see you, go away!" I hear her yell. I can't just leave her.
"Amber. Please?" I beg.

"I want to talk with you." I add. "What I did was wrong and I'm so sorry. I miss you so much and I need you. please come back?"
"After what you did to me? I don't think so Daniel. Nice seeing you!" She yells sarcastically. You can tell she's been drinking. That hurt. I didn't mean to cheat on her. Well I did, but it was wrong and I regret it.
Just as she starts walking off, I grab her wrist. I can't loose her again.
"Amber. I love you." I whisper. I really mean it, I really do. Just please say it back.
"Daniel. I used to love you." She grunts. My heat sinks as I watch her walk off. I wish I had still jumped of that damn bridge. I just stand there, frozen, staring at the grass.
I want to go home. I can't take this. I start walking inside and just as I'm about to say by to Shawn and Cameron, we hear yelling from the entrance. Skyla, Shawn, Cameron and I all have a look to see Amber and Taya yelling at each other. I can't understand what they are saying though.
Amber walks out and Taya looks at all of us.
"We have to follow her..." Cameron mentions. Everyone but me nods. We all run out of the house to find Amber. It's so dark out side.
"Where is she?" Skyla whispers. I hear something in the background.
"Shush!" I whisper putting my finger to my lips.
"Daniel, we don't have time for you to cry over Amber, we need to find h-" I cut skyla off by telling her to shh again.
When we quiet down, we hear some sobbing from not to far away.
"That's Ambers Cry!" Taya whispers. "I can recognise it anywhere!" We all follow the sound to find Amber on the bridge where we once locked our lock on it to represent our love. Amber looks up at us shining her phone light to see us.
"What do you want?!" She mumbles.
"To give Daniel another chance." Skyla says.
"He tried to commit suicide because he missed you so much!" Shawn yells. I wish it worked.
"How's your head?" Cameron asks.
"How did you know about that?!" She says rudely. He shows her his phone, I don't know they are showing her but she has no emotion on her face.
"It's gone viral" taya says. What's gone viral? I shove my hands in my pockets and look down. Why am I here? She hates me.
We all stand in an awkward silence for a while. The next thing I know, she runs straight up to me and hugs me really tight. I stumble back from being shocked and then I hug her back shoving my face into her shoulders. I'm a wreck. I missed her too much. This hug feels like the best thing in the world right now, I never want it to end.
I hear her say, "I love you" into my top. I'm so happy right now and I hug her tighter. I missed her so much!
