Daniel's POV
So. I'm bored out of my brain. I've been awake for ages which has felt like days but I can't move, I've given up on trying. So I heard the doctor say to Amber that the surgery didn't go well so now I'm in a coma. Well they got that right. I've been able to hear every conversation in this room and when Amber was talking to me I was trying to hard to at leased move my finger or open my eyes and I felt like crying. I need to see her.
I think it's Shawn and Cameron who have been in the room for ages but I haven't heard any of the girls voices. The beeping machine thing has been driving me crazy. I'm also laying in a way that is crazily uncomfortable. I can hear Cameron and Shawn talking then I hear a phone ring.
"Who is it?" Cameron says.
"Taya." Shawn says he answers the phone. It must be on FaceTime because Shawn says,
"God you look tired" we hear someone puking in the background.
"Who's that?" Shawn giggles.
"Amber, so you know how she had a bad headache," taya says,
"Yeah" I hear both the guys say.
"We accidentally gave Amber too much drugs and now she's worse" skyla laughs. Oh no. I hope Amber is ok.
"Is she ok?" Cameron giggles.
"Umm. I don't think so" taya says. Ahhh. Come on Daniel. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Move. Move. Move. It's not working. Darn it!
Skylas POV
*** 2 hours later***
So Taya and I just dropped Amber off home. She not allowed to go into the hospital when she's that sick unless she is a patient. Which I don't get because the people in there are already sick so what's the point if another sick person goes in there? Oh well.
"Lets go check up on Daniel." Taya says. I immediately make a sharp right turn and head to the hospital.
"Dude! We almost died! Are you sure you have your drivers licence?" Taya laughs. I pull up into a car spot in the hospital car park and we walk in. We walk into the elevator and go to level 3 where Daniel is.
"Hey!" I say when we walk in. The guys wave at us and Daniel is still in the coma. Ugh. I miss him so bad. I sit on Cameron's lap but taya grabs a chair and sits next to Shawn. I turn my head for one second and turn back and they are in a full on make out sesh. Ew.
I smile at Cameron and he smiles back.
"Hey babe" he says. "I missed you"
"Aww" I coo. I go to kiss him on the cheek but he turns his head and I kiss him on the lips. "Oi!" I laugh.
"I missed you too" I smile. He crashes his lips against mine. I feel him smile making me smile back.
Amber's POV
I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. Skyla and Taya just dropped me off.
"Hey are you ok?" Mum walks in my room. I nod my head and she checks my temperature.
"Wow. You're hot" she says.
"Thank you. I know" I mumble and smile. She nudges my arm and giggles. I'll get you a cold rag and some panadol. I nod and she walks out.
*** one hour later ***
I hear my phone ding and I lean over to pick it up. Taya has texted me.
"OMG Amber! Daniel's awake!" Taya texts. I put my phone down. WAIT. WHAT!? I pick my phone back up and read it again. It's true. I cover my mouth with my hands and let out a few happy tears. Mum walks in with a mug of hot tea.
"Oh my gosh, are you ok?" She asks. She sits down next to me and hugs me. I nod. And tell her what taya just said. Then I hear my phone ding again.
"But there's bad news and good news..." it says.
"What!?" Please have his memory, please have his memory.
"He has all his memory but... the doctor said, he's not allowed to see anyone sick for a week till he recovers."
I start crying and mum picks up my phone and starts reading it.
"I'm so sorry" she says and hugs me tight. She puts the tea on my bed side table and walks out. I cry into my pillow.
