He hangs up immediately. I stare at my phone in shock.
"Amber what happened?" Taya says walking up behind me. I shake my head and walk off. I repeatedly hear my name being called out by taya and Shawn but I ignore them.
Skyla's POV
Ok so I have been a jerk lately. But SO has Cameron. I hate him. I don't even want to think about him. I might actually start talking today. I mean to Taya and Amber. They seem worried and I have a bunch of missed calls and messages from them that I haven't replied to.
I'm about to pick up my phone to call taya when my phone rings. Taya's ringing me. How coincidental. I answer.
"Skyla!" Taya says is a released voice.
"Hey taya. I'm really sorry, I was just a little upset but I think I'm good now." I say.
"That's good but I have a problem. Have you heard from Daniel?" She says. What?
"No, why?" I ask.
"Amber was just on the phone to him and she walked off crying. But earlier today we all met at maccas and he got pissed at her and drove off without her." She exclaims.
"Woah. Wait. What? What's going on?" I say confused.
"I don't know. Amber's not replying to my calls" she says now sounding worried. Omg. Why is everything drama?! Wth? Well. It's fun being single, I like it.
"I'll go to try and find her" I say and I hang up. Ugh I don't want to get up. I ate too much pizza for lunch. I Force myself to get up and I get into my car and start driving to ambers house.
Amber's POV
Ugh. I walk straight home. What the hell? What did I do?! I was trying to help him. Gosh. Wait. Did he say he loved me still before he broke up with me? Something's up. I decide to call him even though I know he won't answer. I call his number and he doesn't answer. I knew it. Then I hear my doorbell ring.
I get up and walk to the door and reveal skyla.
"Skyla!" I yell and throw my arms around her, "I'm so happy to see you" I smile pretending like nothing is wrong.
"Amber what's wrong?" She asks walking in. Darn it.
"Umm well Daniel has been acting weird lately so I keep on asking what's wrong but he got annoyed this morning while we were at maccas and when I said it he yelled at me then walked to his car and drove off. Then before when I was at Taya's he answered my call and he ended it with 'I have to break up with you'" I burst it all out.
"What he loves you though?!" Skyla says surprised.
"Obviously not" I say. I hear my doorbell ring again and I open the door to see Taya and Shawn. The most perfect couple who never break up. I let them in and they all go sit on my couch.
"I'll go get food" I say and walk off into the kitchen. I look at the shelves and try to find something to eat. Then I hear footsteps.
I turn my head to see Shawn.
"Hey" I grumpily mumble.
"Hi" he smiles. "So you're single now?" He asks.
"Yeah why?" I look at him.
"Cause I want to do this..." he pulls me in and presses his lips to mine. It's feels so wrong but so right at the same time. Wait. Isn't he dating taya? He stops me from pulling me away and his tongue grazes the bottom of my lip. I deny so he slowly moves his hands to my waist then squeezes it making me gasp and he uses that moment to enter his tongue.
He pulls back after a while.
"Aren't you dating taya?" I smile. He scratches the back of his neck.
"Shawn, that's really bad. She one of my best friends." I chuckle with surprise.
"Oh shut up" he says and kisses me again. This time I pull back.
"Man, you are a good kisser." He smiles.
"You too" I grab a bag of chips and make Shawn walk out so it doesn't look suspicious.
Then after a while I walk out. They are casually talking and taya doesn't suspect a thing. Wait. What just happened? I'm a backstabber. What the hell have I just done?! Omg. I'm dead. We continue talking like nothing is wrong. I'm going to wait till Daniel's ready to talk to me. I'm not going to bother trying to get in touch with him. Omg. I am the worst friend ever!
