"I have to start looking in college soon" I say. Daniel has taken me to maccas for lunch and I'm pretty sure Shaya (Shawn + Taya) will be meeting us here. "Are you trying to leave me?" Daniel chuckles. "No, I just want an education for something I love" I chuckle and take my first fry.
"Your not eating much, are you ok?" I say when I finish my mouth full. "Hmm? Yeah, I'm fine" Daniel shrugs it off. Ugh! "Daniel..." I mumble. He looks up as if he has no idea what I'm talking about. "Hey guys!" I hear. I look over and Taya sits next to me.
"Hey!" I give her a hug. Shawn sits next to Daniel. "Have you heard from Skyla?" Taya asks. Both daniel and I shake our heads. "She'll come around" Shawn says reassuring us. I smile at him and he pulls a funny face causing me to chuckle. "I'm gonna go get some food. Did you want anything Shawn?" Taya asks standing up. Shawn stands up to and they walk off.
I look at Daniel and he looks down at his phone. I can see in his eyes that he knows I'm looking at him he's just avoiding me. "Daniel what's wrong?" I ask. "Can you stop trying to get in my life Amber?! God you're turning into my mother!" He raises his voice and walks off leaving me alone.
I throw my head into my hands while my elbows hold me off the table. I stare at the window and watch him drive off. What the hell did I do? "Hey what's up?" Taya says sitting down. "Where's Daniel?" "He left" I mumble. "Why?" Shawn asks. I just shrug my shoulders. "Did you want me to go find him?" Shawn stands. "No, I think he needs time alone" I say and Shawn sits back down.
"What happened?" Taya looks at me. I shake my head. "I don't know. He's been acting odd lately so I keep on asking him what's wrong but he always says nothing, then just after you guys left, I asked him again and he yelled at me saying how I'm turning into his mom and I need to stop trying to get in his life" I blurt it all out.
"Something's up" Shawn says. "No sh*t Sherlock!" Taya laughs. "No remember that time we went to the park and he was really happy? He was actually really depressed. He told me. He found out that his good family friend got cancer or something so he was really sad." Shawn says. "Wait. What?! Why didn't he tell me?" I ask sitting straight. "He said he didn't want you to worry. He's the kind of guy who, if something's bothering him, he won't say anything but if he's acting like this, something's really bad" Shawn adds.
"From a guy's opinion, what do you think we should do?" Taya asks reading my mind. "Leave him for a bit then leave like 50 missed calls on his phone to show him you care. Trust me, that's who he is." Shawn states. I nod. God I'm so Lucky Shawn and I are friends. Lol.
"How long has he been acting weird?" Taya asks taking a bite out of her burger. "For a few days now" I say and I finish off mine and continue with my fries. "I'm looking at colleges" I say breaking the silence. Taya and Shawn freeze and stare at me making me laugh. "Why? Don't you like us?" Shawn nudges me. "Of course I do, I just want more education" I say laughing. We get up and chuck the rubbish in the bin and walk out. It's a really nice day today.
"What courses are you looking at?" Taya asks. "Photography!" I say looking out the window. We are in Shawn's car with Shawn and Taya in the front and me in the back. "Do they have photography classes at College?" Shawn giggles. "Yeah" "Go to a college close please, so we can still see you" taya laughs. "I'm looking locally" "Good!" They both say.
"Should I call Daniel now?" I ask. Shawn nods as he turns the steering wheel. I grab my phone and call Daniel. He doesn't answer so I do what Shawn said and I call him 50 times repeatedly and he doesn't answer one. "That should do it" Shawn says and we pull up in Shawn's driveway. We all get out and walk into Shawn's house. Aaliyah runs up to us and hugs me first. "Hey girl!" I say and put her down and she hugs taya then Shawn. Taya Shawn and I walk into the living room and all collapse on the couch.
"What did you guys want to watch?" Shawn asks. "First mean girls, then she's the man then Harry Potter, then Pll?" Taya asks. "That's a long list but sounds good" Shawn laughs and he turns on the tv.

We are in the middle of 'She's the man' when my phone starts ringing. Shawn pauses it and I look at my phone. It's Daniel. "Hello?" I ask when I answer. "I'm sorry, are you ok?" He asks. "Good to hear from you too. I'm fine how are you?" I ask and turn it on speaker. I put my finger to my lips so taya and Shawn stay shut up. "Ummm yeah alright." He says. "Daniel" I say sternly.
I look up to see Shawn about to sneeze. (It's on speaker btw)

I shake my head and mouth 'NO!' And taya puts her hand over his mouth. "Sorry, mom was talking to me" I say to Daniel to make an excuse for the silence. "That's ok. So what are you doing?" He asks. Then I hear a loud sneeze. I look up to Shawn and he has the most guilty look on him.

"Amber." Daniel says. "Why are you on speaker?" I quickly turn it off speaker and walk into the other room. "Daniel. What's wrong?!" I almost yell. "Ummmm....." "DANIEL!" I yell. "I'm getting a bunch of hate! Ok? Happy?" He yells.
"Why? What about?" I ask worried about him. "See! Again with trying to get in my life" he yells. "Daniel. I'm worried about you!" I say trying to calm him down. "I can take care of my self. Gosh Amber" he says calming down a bit himself. "I'm sorry Daniel." I mumble. "Amber?" He asks. I can hear tears forming by his voice. "Yeah?" I ask. "I love you. But I'm going to have to break up with you. Im sorry"
