Amber's POV
I wake up to a really sore neck. I must have slept on it funny. I sit up slowly trying not to wake up Daniel next to me and I see everybody else sleeping on mattresses on the floor except for skyla who is sleeping on Cameron but oh well. My head hurts but I slowly stand up to be greeted by a trashed house. Ugh! We have to clean this all up! I may as well start now so that we can finish earlier.
I walk into the kitchen and grab the half eaten food and chuck it in the bin before sweeping up all the broken glass and rubbish into a pile then into the bin. I organise the food in the pantry into size and colour order. I swear I am OCD. I hear footsteps and I look up to see Cameron walking into the kitchen.
"Hi." I say looking up from wiping down the bench. He yaws loudly and waves before crashing onto the breakfast bar stool.
"You not going to help?" I say sarcastically.
"Nah, you can do all the work" he replies.
"Isn't that Skyla's job?" I mumble really quietly.
"What did you say?" He laughs.
"Nothing, nothing." I grin. We tease each other a lot.
After a while I finish cleaning the kitchen and I get an idea. I pick up a bucket and Cameron smirks at me. Looks like he has the same idea. I fill up the bucket with water and we both walk to the lounge room. Cameron videos me. I get to a spot in the room and throw the water over everyone. They all wake up both Taya and Skyla screaming and The rest of us blocking our ears. Lol.
Taya gives me a glare and I run. As fast as I can. Taya, skyla, Daniel and Shawn follow me. Shawn is a really fast runner so he catches up to me. By now we are outside. He grabs me and I try to get away before he picks me up and chucks me into the pool. Ugh! Really?! Shawn helps me back out of the pool.
Everybody laughing but Daniel who is sitting on a chair with this head in his hands.
"Are you ok Daniel?" I ask kneeling next to him. He slowly shakes his head.
"What's wrong!?" I say. He doesn't look well at all.
"I just have a migraine that's all." He mumbles. I hate migraines. I feel so bad for him right now so I help him stand up and I lay him on the couch. He looks really pale.
"Can I get you anything?" I whisper trying not to make him worse. He shakes his head and I kiss him on the cheek before walking off. I missed him so much to be honest. For the next couple of hours we clean up the house as best we can. I can't stop thinking about daniel. I hope he is ok.
It's now 3:28 and we just Finnish cleaning Taya's room.
"I'm going to go check on Daniel." I say putting down the spray cleaner. I hear a moan as I walk down the stairs and I walk faster to see Daniel slowly walking across the lounge. I run up to him.
"Hey, are you ok? You should probably lie down Daniel." I say guiding him back to the couch.
"Can I have a glass of water?" He mumbles. I nod and just as I'm about to let go of him to go to the kitchen he collapses and I catch him.
I can't hold him long, he's too heavy. Shawn's strong, so I yell out Shawn's name and they all come running down. They stand at the bottom of the stairs looking at me trying to hold Daniel up.
"I could use some help!" I say. Shawn runs over and takes Daniel back tot he couch.
"I'll call the ambulance" skyla says picking up her phone.
"What happened?!" Taya asks now standing next to me.
"I don't know. We were talking and he just collapsed." I say almost crying. I'm really scared. What's wrong with him?!
Shawn checks his pulse and makes sure he's ok before letting me see him. I sit next to the couch on the floor and look at Daniel's lifeless body. I'm so scared. After a few minutes, the ambulance gets here and puts Daniel on a bed.
"Can I go with him?" I ask the nurse.
"Sure." She says.
"I'll go with you!" Skyla calls from behind me. I smile and we follow daniel into the ambulance before they shut the door.
I sit there holding Daniel's hand. He's not moving. A tear escapes my cheek and skyla hugs me.
"He'll be ok" she mumbles.
"You don't know that!" I cry more. She hugs me again and it helps a bit. After a while the nurse opens the door and we follow them into an empty room.
"Do you mind waiting outside please?" The doctor asks. I really don't want to but I have to so I nod and skyla and I sit in some chairs in the middle of the hallway.
The doctor walks out and nods at us and we both follow him back in the room.
"Has he had any previous migraines or throwing up recently?" The doctor asks looking at his paper.
"Not that I know of..." I reply crossing my arms. I do that when I'm nervous. Cross my arms.
"Daniel has a Brain tumour. I'm very sorry girls." He says. I throw my hand to my mouth. I can't believe it.
"He's just past out now and he will probably wake up any minute so you can talk to him but we need to get him in surgery as soon as possible." He says.
I'm about to burst into tears and skyla can see that so she talks for me.
"Do you have more details?" She asks holding my hand.
"Not yet as far but after the surgery he could loose a bit of his memory. Was he anything special to you?"
I nod. He could loose his memory. It's just not fair!
"Are you sure he didn't say anything about headaches or being sick recently" the doctor looks up from his papers.
"He's not the type to talk about that stuff." I say knowing it's true.
"Ok thank you. If he wakes up please press the nurse call button straight away." And with that he walks out. I run over to Daniel and throw my head on his chest and start crying. I hear the door open but I ignore it. It's probably the other guys.
