Josh smiled as he read. "They would make great songs, Tyler."

Tyler had ultimately given in to the urge to show Josh the stuff he wrote.

"Nah, they wouldn't be good enough. Besides, how could they be turned into songs ? They're far from perfect, Josh..." Tyler whispered .

Josh chuckled.

"Perfection is impossible. Also, it's relative. That's why, after all, it can't be achievable."

"But...Isn't that our ultimate goal?" Tyler frowned. He couldn't wrap his mind around what Josh was trying to say.

[this is just another one of his stupid bullshit points, can't you see he's only trying to hurt you?
why the hell would he do that, huh?
and you're letting him get to you stop letting him
you know how this is gonna end
stop being so weak stop it]

"Exactly. We shouldn't struggle to achieve the unachievable," Josh stated matter-of-factly.

Tyler was speechless. His whole world was collapsing. Everything he knew so far seemed less real as he talked with Josh. He enjoyed his company and was perfectly content with just sitting in silence but those deep conversations were what really brought them closer. And they affected Tyler like nothing else ever had. With every sentence that came out of Josh's mouth, the fog that surrounded Tyler seemed to dissolve. He felt like he was adding a small piece to a huge puzzle.

When Tyler finally opened his mouth, his voice was shaky.

"So you're saying that we shouldn't trust a songthat's flawless?"

"Oh hello there, Tyler!"

He was currently in Melapples, the local pastry shop. Tyler never liked to go anywhere but since he realised he needed to interact more with people and socialise, he decided to take a walk that morning. On his way back home, he noticed a Big Hero 6 birthday cake on the window of Melapples and since Madison's birthday was coming up in about a month and she happened to adore that movie, Tyler thought he should go in.

"What can I do for you, dear?" Mrs. Morrison, the old lady who owned the pastry shop, asked him politely. Tyler thought that she was alright. She seemed cheerful and kind, despite Tyler's reputation.

"Good morning, Mrs. Morrison," Tyler greeted, rather awkwardly.

"You can call me Margaret, dear."

"Um... how about Mrs. Margaret?"

"That works too," she smiled. She was sweet but not overly sweet to the point of creepy. "So what would you like?"

Tyler was beginning to feel bad for not attending her husband's funeral 12 years ago. 'But I don't know them, mum, why should I pretend that I'm sorry he died? '

"I was, um, thinking of getting that Big Hero 6 cake for my sister's birthday."

"Oh, that's a great choice, would you like me to wrap it up for you?"

Tyler barely noticed she had spoken. He was too lost in his own thoughts. 'Tyler, sometimes you just show up to show your support. You don't actually have to feel bad.'

"Is something wrong? You most certainly don't need to worry about those calories, young man," she joked. "When someone spends so much time running up and down a basketball court..."
