Together [GMW]

Chapter 1

It's 8:45 and it's a ten minute walk to school, but here I am waiting for Lucas to get ready.

"Lucas hurry up I don't wanna be late." I sighed, while grabbing his backpack.

"It's not my fault you didn't wake me up." Lucas called from his room, searching for something to wear.

"It's been a month. I thought you would've had the schedule down by now." It's not my fault you stayed up till 3 A.M this summer.

I walked downstairs and decided to wait in the kitchen. His parents are the best, they always buy the best food. My parents only get organic, healthy food. So I decided to raid his pantry.

"Maya, what are you doing!" Lucas yelled, running down the stairs.
"Just raiding the pantry. Wanna brownie?"
"Sure, just not the one with nuts."
"Well duh," I tossed him a brownie with chocolate chips instead.

Lucas has a severe nut allergy. A couple years ago, when we were 10, we were hanging out with our friend who had just got back from a trip to Europe and she wanted us to try some candy. The first two were fine, delicious even, but the next one had hazelnuts in them. Which, at the time, I had no clue he was allergic to. So for the first three minutes everything was fine then he started wheezing and breaking into hives. It just so happened his parents were at the obgyn so since we were home alone we called 911 and he apparently wen into anaphylaxis shock so they told us to find his epi-pen. Took us about two minutes but we found it just in time. Ever since then I carry around an epi-pen.

"Well can I have my backpack so we won't be late," he grabbed his backpack from my hand and opened the door for me.

"So... you and Missy, are you-" Missy's his ex they dated from the beginning of freshman year til the beginning of this year, sophomore year.
"If you're asking if I'm over it, no, I'm not."
"Well then will you go with me to Josh's house later? A couple of people are going and we're going to hang out."
"Is it a party, if it is no."
"Don't worry it's not, I swear, it's not. Just seven people, eight if you come, hanging by the pool."
"Okay then yeah I'll go who's going?"
"Just the usual."

Not that much change in this one just the names.

So this one is going to take place in NY because it's just easier that way instead of moving everyone to Cali. Next chapter will be out soon
