Chapter 3

About ten minutes after we went downstairs Yogi and Darby showed up. "So what do you guys wanna do first?" I asked.
Darby stood up and cleared her throat, "Well since this is a pool party why don't we, hm I don't know, go to the pool." I, personally, didn't like Darby. She was always side by side with Missy and she knew what Missy was doing to Luc and she didn't tell us. The only reason we still hang out with her is because only Luc and I know. He didn't want everyone knowing and hating her for it, but despite his wishes I hate her. She broke his heart by- "Hey you ready?" Josh wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.
"Yeah." We walked outside and down the stairs and I sat by our 'spot', that's what Luc called it. The reason it's our 'spot' is because we had our biggest moments there. It's where he asked me out, where he kissed me, and where we told each other "I love you". The spot was by the stairs of the pool it was shallow, but it has a little sitting place. Theo went to turn on the speakers so we wouldn't have to swim in silence. Farkle canon balled at the deep end along with Luc and Yogi. The girls came to swim near me.
"So... how are you and Josh?" Riley broke the silence between us. The guys on the other hand were fine. I overheard them talking about baseball. (They're on the baseball team).
"Josh and I are great as always." I smiled. Darby laughed.
"That's weird I haven't seen you two on a date in a month." She wiped the smile straight of my face.
"Dar!" Riley elbowed her. Riley and I are the closet among the three.
"Ow." Darby muttered, "Sorry, it's just if you two are so great why haven't you two been out together?"
"I've been dealing with the mess your best friend caused and for the Josh and I going out thing," I paused "We never really went out before the whole mess. We usually just hang out at each others houses, alone." That shut her up. I'm pretty sure Josh could sense tension between Darby and I because he came over here, wrapped his arm around me, and practically made out with me right in front of her. Smackle giggled, Riley was disgusted, probably because Josh was her uncle and I was her best friend, and Darby's face turned red I could tell she was pissed.

An hour later, it started getting dark so I was going to turn on the pool lights. Before I went inside, I asked everyone if they wanted to eat pizza and we all agreed. I went inside and turned on the pool lights first. I decided to order a meat lovers pizza, veggie lovers, and a supreme pizza. The girl on the phone said it would take 40 minutes so I went back outside to get the money for the pizza. "Where's the money for the pizza?" I asked Josh.
"Upstairs. On my dresser." I ran upstairs where I found $50 right beside our photo from our first date. I couldn't help but smile. I went back downstairs and placed the money on the counter and went back outside.

30 minutes later the bell door rang. They're early. I ran back inside, grabbed the money, and open the door.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
