Chapter 7: Congratulations you played yourself

After Parker finally took his knife out of Stella, and after I knocked her unconscious, we decided to let her slowly bleed out and leave.

Once we got to Parkers car, I realized I'd left behind my bag.

"Crap. Hold up man. I forgot my bag."

"Hurry up man. We gotta get outta here before that little friend of hers starts snooping again."

"Aight."

But it was too late.

Alexis already started snooping. Worst thing is, she found Stella AND the police showed up.

Maybe we shouldn't have had left her in the middle of the alley.

As Alexis talked to the police and the EMT'S got Stella into the ambulance, I watched silently..

I couldn't believe this. How the hell did Alexis find her? I know for a fact she doesn't live around here so why was she here now ?

Looking around, I spotted my bag. It was visible but not too visible that they'd spot it.

"Crap.." I whispered to myself.

At least I thought I did..

"Who's there?!" The police man shouted out.

Shit. What should I do? I can't run back, they'll see me and Parker's car..

So I did what seemed to make sense at the time..

I stepped forward.

"Hey.. I'm sorry" I said approaching slowly." I just need my bag.." I grabbed my bag off the floor.

"THERE HE IS! THERE'S THE ONE THAT DID THIS TO HER!" Alexis cried hysterically.

"Okay son. Get on your knees right now and put your hands behind your head."

I began to kneel down but instead I grabbed my gun and shot Alexis. Once I shot her, I ran quickly to Parker's car.

All I could hear was the officer calling for back up.

"Parker... We... Need... To... Go..... Now" I said out of breath.

All you could hear were police sirens.

"Man what the hell did you do?!" Parker asked as he sped off.

As we took off, I explained to him what happened.

"I knew Alexis would mess this up. I fucking knew it." Parker said hitting the steering wheel.

I didn't know what the hell was going to happen next but I knew it wasn't going to end well.

After things seemed to die down a little bit, I found out I didn't severely hurt Alexis. The bullet I shot just grazed her leg. We also found out that Stella's in a coma. Parker went to the hospital to see what was happening and saw her father. He looked horrible. He looked as if he hadn't slept in days.

I knew he was satisfied. He had accomplished what he wanted to for so long. He knew his dad was happy.

As for me, I completely layed low. The police were looking for me. It was bad. I mean I'd do anything for Parker so whatever happens, happens.

When we found out Alexis was home, we decided to pay her a little visit.

Before I left out the house, I had to make sure I wasn't caught. At least not before we taught Alexis a little lesson.

Now listen here, of course you think she didn't do anything wrong. You think she was just looking after her bestfriend. But she did, she stuck her nose into business that wasn't hers and got herself hurt. In fact, this was all her fault.

When we got to Alexis' house, and she opened her door, a look of fear washed over her face instantly.

"Wh-what are you guys d-doing here." She said shakily as she stepped back.

"That's no way you speak to guests sweetheart." Parker spoke as he shut the door.

"Wh-what are you going to do to me?"

"Ohhh nothing too bad sweetheart. We'll make sure you live to see your dear friend Stella wake up.. That is if she does." Parker spoke as he chuckled.

With that, Parker punched Alexis and immediately knocked her out.

"That's for ruining my brother's life bitch." Parker spat. "See you soon".

With that we left out with Alexis laying on the ground.

She shouldn't have tried so hard to be everyone's hero when she couldn't even save herself...
