my jaw clenched as i saw whom i used to refer to as my best friend.
the one who betrayed me,
one of the people who caused the brokenness inside me.
"jungkook?"
i was suddenly at a state of shock when hyerin mentioned his name.
"hyerin? taehyung? you k-know each other?"
"jungkook.. i-it's been a long while," hyerin mumbled, looking at the dark haired boy before me.
"it has," i coldly worded as i remembered the time he hurt me.
jungkook looked over to the rather small girl and smiled.
"i'm sorry for being gone for long, but as promised... i came back," he mentioned with a soft gaze.
for some reason, my stomach turned and my heart felt heavy to see him looking at her that way.
a feeling of possessiveness waved through me, i tried to hide it.
but what hyerin said next somehow made my heart shatter,
"i've missed you, jungkook."
