i watched, observed, and shattered.
he wrapped his arms around the girl i had fallen for as her eyes gleamed under the moonlight.
the man i truly despised, the man who betrayed me, the man who i once called my best friend together with the woman i saved, the woman i let in my life, the woman whose heart i fixed.
pang, i felt my heart clench in pain as i gazed at the scene before me.
i felt numb, but my heart was beating fast.
i felt devastated, but my eyes wouldn't shed tears.
i felt broken, but i stood still.
yet my questions remained unanswered,
my dreams remained untrue,
memories suddenly forgotten,
and love never returned.
