and here we are.
long sleeves off as we looked at the now exposed flesh, of which each of our eyes only saw.
fingers intertwined as our wounded arms touched. the bruised and scarred skin, caused by the world that crushed us down to the cold ground.
but we found each other. we opened our eyes as they started to gleam once again as we stood ourselves up. it was then we realized that, even the broken ones find love.
we've awoken from the darkness. we only saw light in one another.
we escaped reality together, our shattered selves alive and free.
it was beautiful.
she was beautiful.
"i love you."
it was then when she said those words i only thought existed in my dreams.
"nado saranghae."
my heart stopped beating.
everything stopped.
it was her and i against the world.
the broken glass was put back together,
the wounds healed,
holes patched up,
darkness lightened,
and empty hearts were filled.
i was in love.
and she was too.
