Detention (Joshaya)

She saw a folder labelled "Josh." Maya opened the folder and saw about 40-50 photos of Josh. And one of them was of him shirtless at the beach and one was of him with a puppy. Riley started moving around a bit so Maya closed the folder, put it back in her bag and zipped it up.

Riley woke up as Maya pretended to be asleep already. Riley turned off the light and the TV, and went back to sleep. Maya eventually went to sleep after thinking about it for a while.

The next day, after Riley left at about 11:00 AM, Maya waited 20 minutes after Riley left, and Maya called Josh over. After 20 more minutes of Maya pacing around her room while biting her nails... Someone knocked on the door. Maya walked over to the front of the door and heard another knock. She let out a breath and opened the door. And there stood Josh. "Maya." "Josh." After that they stood there awkwardly. "Come in." Maya said before Josh came in and she closed the door. They sat next to each other on the
couch. "I have to ask you something and you have to be completely honest. Okay?" Maya asked seriously. Josh nodded seriously. "Last night, Riley's bag was stuffed and when I asked her about it, she stuttered and stammered.  And I knew something was up.  So later on, when she fell asleep, I had to check what was in her bag, so I did. And I saw a collection of photos of you. Are... Are you and Riley... Ya know... a thing?" Maya asked. "NO. No way. I mean, yeah I like her as a friend, but not like that. And I honestly have no idea why she had pictures of me." Josh replied truthfully. And Maya believed him because she could always tell when he was lying.

Josh and Maya awkwardly sat there in silence until Josh chuckled. "What?" Maya asked confused. "It's funny." Was his reply. "What is?!" Maya asked again but this time, while smiling. Josh looked her in the eyes, held her hands and said "What's funny is that you thought I stopped loving you." Josh spoke in a low tone because the whole apartment was dead silent and he wanted to make this a moment to remember. Maya was about to speak up but didn't say anything. Instead, she just crashes her lips onto his. At that moment, she didn't care that they were broken up. She didn't care that he was 3 years older than her. She just cared about... That moment... Them... Him.

A few minutes later, after passionately kissing(making out), Maya pulled away and stood up. "I'm your girlfriend again." She blurted out. She couldn't control it, he just has this effect on her. A smile appears on his face, as a chuckle escapes his lips. "What makes you think I want you back?" Josh teased. Maya stood there and thought for a second. She then walked up to him, leaned down and kissed him, and he kissed back. She stepped back and said "Well, first of all, the fact that you kissed back. And second of all, The fact that we love each other." Maya whispered while smiling. They continued to kiss/make out, when all of a sudden, Maya realized something and pulled away. "Wait. If you and Riley aren't dating, why'd she have all of those pictures of you?" Maya asked and thought. "I don't know." "I'm gonna find out." Maya put on her boots and walked out with Josh. While holding his hand. Maya and Josh left and went to Riley's place. Maya had a key because the Matthews gave one to her because she's like family. Maya walked into their living room, & saw Auggie, Ava, Cory Topanga and Cory watching TV. Maya asked where riley was and they said that she was in her room. She went to Riley's room, opened the door and was  shocked at what she saw.

I know I'm supposed to wait until tomorrow but I just couldn't wait.And I know that you guys couldn't either.  Also, I'm Sorry for another cliffhanger. LOL!
