Detention (Joshaya)

The next day, It was 4:45, so 1 hour and 15 minutes until the wedding was supposed to start. Everyone was almost done getting ready. Although, Maya and Josh were already done getting ready. So they were just going on a walk.

        They finished the walk and came back to the beach house and were on the porch. Maya was standing, holding the railing and looking at the ocean as no one was in it and it was nice and peaceful, because it was nice hearing the sounds of the waves come to the shore. And Josh was sitting down and looking at her. She sat next to Josh on the porch swing. "On somedays, I just wanna stay like this forever." Maya said calmly.

        Eventually, they all left and went to the wedding. Josh and Maya were together literally the whole time. And then after the ceremony, and the "I Do's" Maya and Josh sat next to each other. "Maya what's wrong?" Josh asked noticing the way she blankly looked at the ground. "Yeah I'm-" Maya said but then stopped because she didn't want to lie to Josh. "No. I'm not." She confessed. "I've had this bad feeling in my stomach ever since that walk." Maya held her stomach. "Come on. I'll take you to the doctors." Josh said helping her up. He asked Cory if he could take the car to the doctors. And he said yeah.

        Once Maya and Josh got to the hospital, they went in and the doctors said that she just had a tummy ache. He told Maya and Josh that she needed to lay down and get some rest and that she'd be ready and better in the next morning. Josh drove home. Since it was only 6:45, Maya laid down on her bed, and Josh made her some soup. He came into her room and said "I made you some soup." While putting the tray on the table next to her bed. He grabbed a seat and brought it in front of her bed. They sat there peacefully. Josh scooped up some soup with the spoon and fed it to her. "My stomach hurts, I'm not paralyzed. I can eat myself." Maya and Josh laughed when she said that. She was eating her soup, and than Josh's phone rang. "Hey Cor- I mean Mr. Matthews." He answered. "I'll be there in 15." Josh said and then hung up. "What's wrong?" Maya asked. "Oh nothing. Mr. Matthews asked me to come and get a few of the other people. Cause they can't all fit in that one car. I'll be back in a bit." Josh said and then he kissed Maya's head and left.

        Eventually, at around 8-9 pm, everyone got back and Maya was still awake while she was on her phone. Riley was just sitting on her bed, taking her heals off. Topanga and Cory came in and then Josh came into the room too and kneeled next to Maya's bed. "Goodnight. I'm gonna go-" Josh said but was interrupted when Maya said "No! Don't leave. Stay here with me. Please, love." Maya said wanting to stay with him. Josh looked at Cory and Topanga. Topanga nodded and Cory started speaking and said "Okay fine. Josh can sleep on Riley's bed, Riley you sleep on my bed, and I'll sleep on Josh's bed. I don't want Riley sleeping in the same room as Lucas." Cory said.

Everyone got changed into their night clothes and went to the spots that they were supposed to be at.

Everyone went to sleep... Except for Josh and Maya. But they both didn't know that the other was awake. So they were both just laying down and thinking. Eventually, Maya spoke up and asked him "Josh?" He smiled. "Yes, Love?" Josh replied. Both Maya and Josh love calling each other "Love" because they truly loved each other, plus, they loved the sound of that. "Can you sleep here tonight?" Maya said referring to her bed. "Cory wouldn't accept it... Which would make it more fun. Plus you're there." Josh said than came over to her bed an they both went to sleep and finally got some sleep because they had each other's comfort, warmth and love.
