Chapter 29: Uhmmm.... Surprise?

   It's Friday night, I'm sitting on the couch finishing some paper works for the company and it is due on Sunday morning. I'm actually making this proposal for five hours straight, and I'm literally drained.

   The proposal would allow the company, our families companies, to expand its presence in the world and the targets of this proposal is to get make the best of all the best ratings for the clothing lines, restaurants, hotels, resorts, airlines and cargos, which is our businesses. To be known by the people who lives on that certain places, and might as well as be one of the first young entrepreneurs in the world.

   This proposal might give us, the seniors, a great opportunity to make a name in the business industry and even in the showbiz industry.

   I suddenly felt dizzy from all the typing and looking at the laptop screen for five straight hours. I laid down by the cushions of this sofa that I'm sitting on, I close my eyes and rested my right arm on my forehead. Halfway through my sleep when my phone suddenly rang which scared the hell out of me.

I was so lazy to sit down, so I just reached it with my free hand. But when I saw who was calling... Damn.

CAV Calling . . .

- Phone Conversation -

Ara: What's up?

Cav: Something came up... Oh, shoot.

Ara: What came up? I quickly stood up and fixed my things.

Cav: Whatever happens just keep your heads up, bro.

Ara: Cav, what's going on? I ran up stairs to pick up the things I need. Such as wallet, car keys, and my license. Is it really that bad?

Cav: No, I don't think so... *sighs* ... But you might freak out.. Once I settled everything, I ran outside, got inside my car and quickly stepped on the gas.

Ara: What do you even mean by that? My phone is connected with my car, so Cav's on speaker. I can keep my coolness. I said as I was dodging the cars on the road.

Cav: Just do as I say... Someone's coming. I need to go.

Ara: 'Kay. Catch you soon ...

Cav: Yeah, sure.

As the phone call ended up with my brain being clouded by the things Cav told me. Ugh. It's always Cav's fault.

I was thinking too much of what might have gone wrong... I forgot about something important which I shouldn't have.

But who is Cav by the way?.....

Well, I am right here stuck in the middle of EDSA traffic and it is pissing me off. You know why? It's because you have this awesome sports car but the problem is you can't use it properly! I mean, seriously how?
