Chapter 30: The Big Revelation

Ara: Ly?..... She whispered.

Aly who was fixing her shirt looked up, frozen from her tracks... She stared for a little longer. Until she was awakened by her friend's presence.

Aly: Vic. The two of them shared their bro hand shake and bro hug. Kamusta? Kayo ni Bangnita?

Ara: Ayos lang. Alam mo naman, school and volleyball plus love life. Ganon pa rin naman kami, staying strong. Eh, kayo ni Den? She asked her friend.

Aly: That's good. Tumango-tango na sabi ni Alyssa. Kami ni Den? We're doing good, actually. Medyo nangangapa pa. Alam mo na.

Ara: Yup. Its normal, dude. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it soon.

The two close friends' conversation was interrupted by Ara's Mother.

Ara's M: You saw each other na pala, that's good. Now, c'mon you two. Nandito na sila at kayo na lang hinihintay.

Ara's Mother exits out of the kitchen to entertain the guests who have arrived at the Galang's residence.

Aly: Don't look at me like that, dude. I have no idea.

Ara: Neither do I. So, let's go.

Both of them sighed and they once went out to the kitchen and goes straight to the dining room.

The two walks in the room only to see Alyssa's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Valdez including some familiar faces they were seeing.

Aly: Nay, Tay. What are you guys doing here? She asks her parents as she greeted them by a kiss on the cheek.

Ara: Tito, Tita how are you po? Even Ara greeted them with a kiss on the cheek.

Mr. Valdez: We're doing fine, ija. Thank you for asking.

Mrs. Valdez: Ikaw talaga, Lyssa, masyadong matanong. Ara's mother invited us for dinner at wala namang masama if we said yes.

The two just nodded in agreement with what Alyssa's parents said. Even if the two best friends knew to their selves that it was a lie.

Mrs. Galang: Aren't the two of you going to greet our other guests? Ara's mother ask. Or was it a command?

Ara: Mr. & Mrs. Maraguinot good afternoon to you and welcome to our humble home. She offered her hand and shook it with theirs.

Now, it's Alyssa's turn.

Aly: it's really nice to meet you in person, Mr. & Mrs. Maraguinot. Thank you for agreeing with Tita's (Ara's Mom) invitation.

Mr. Maraguinot: It's nothing, really.

Mrs. Maraguinot: The honour is ours. Finally, nakita na rin namin ang Phenom at ang Lethal One. The lady smiles at the two best friends.
